Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Hi, i opened the launcher through steam and it come up saying that there was no connection, i restarted the launcher a few times until i went to verify the files on steam and it downloaded some files that it didnt have and when i went to open the launcher again it had changed to im guessing the new launcher (?) and when i log into my account and start the game all of my settings were deleted, my video, audio and overview settings were all deleted, is there anyway of recovering my settings or do i have to sort everything out again? kinda annoying :/

Hi.

If you click the cog-wheel above the logout button, go to 'MANAGE PROFILES' . There you should see you current settings in the left box (and just a 'default' profile in the right box). You can either drag your profile(s) over to the right box, or highlight them and hit the 'copy profile' button. After closing this window, you will need to select your profile, instead of the default.

I have installed the latest Launcher but when I try to copy across my profiles it doesn't see any. There are no entries in the left window to be copied. I have searched the interface and the Knowledge base and so for nothing tells me how to make the launcher point to the right location. Also nothing tells me where the launcher is looking for those profiles. Now I've been playing Eve for more than ten years so there is no way there is nothing to copy. How do I find out; a) where it is looking for my profiles and b) how to point it to the existing profiles?
