Yes, also; thank you for reading! I've read through this document a few hundred times and every time I find something else I need to change. That's one of them specifically. The price is supposed to be 125 Million ISK, not 250 Million ISK. So anyway, with that out of the way (I just updated it on my live document, thanks again!) onto your question:

tl;dr up front
You input three values and it gives you a few different ones.
Input: PLEX price in ISK.
Input: PLEX price in Real World Currency.
Input: Service Charge in RWC (can easily be reformatted for ISK and I am working on making a drop-down for that)
Output: ISK per single unit of RWC.
Output: ISK per Week.
Output: ISK per Month.
Output: ISK per Year.
Integrates With: Service Fee (Breakdown - Distributions) - Master Wallet (Which cascades from there) - Also interacts with the Road Map To Success 'eventually' and indirectly.

Long Answer
Combined with the other tools, add-ons, and formulas in the module this yields information valuable to planning your budget around flat/flexible service charges either your corporation or a member of your corporation faces. (For example IT Hosting fees of say, $8 USD/month, Domain Name Registration $12 USD/Year, etc). This lets you cut that out of the revenue up front and distribute that ISK appropriately (either to an in game service provider or to a player in your corporation {or yourself?} for services rendered).

I've added this little tool to help in converting ISK on paper into other currencies. So, for my example, I used USD since that is my country's currency. To purchase PLEX from CCP it is about $20 USD per item, which as you know can then be sold on the market to other players for ISK. So keeping that in mind, there is a conversion rate between USD and ISK, and any other currency. It is a simple tool that requires you to update manually the PLEX price on either end (auto updates not yet implemented but they're on the update list; although for some people that might not actually be wanted, I may make it optional) but it'll tell you how much ISK is for each $1 USD. That is a simple calculation that anyone can make of course; but the value in the tool here is how it integrates into the module and other add-ons in auto-calculation formulas that are elsewhere on the spreadsheet.

So, in short:

1. You update the PLEX price for ISK (how much a PLEX is worth to your organization, in my example it was JITA a few weeks ago; but in Null-Sec/Wormhole Space it may differ, all depends on the organization)
2. You update the $USD (or other real world currency) value of PLEX to CCP, in my example it was $20 USD. This you get from their website; and whether or not you want to include their promotional offers. You can then use online conversion tools to convert to other currencies if your provider requires different currencies.
3. You input the service charge you are having to cover, whether that is in $USD or ISK; and it'll then calculate for you the monthly, annual, and weekly costs for that service.
4. The whole product is designed to be 'balanced' every week, say on Fridays, that way you stay on top of your finances and costs.

If you know your cost is X Amount of ISK per month and it isn't going to change, then you won't need this add-on (but it wouldn't hurt to keep your options open for unexpected growth in the future). But if your cost is X Amount of USD then that is subject to market fluctuations in game via PLEX prices.

And for forum/CCP rules/safety; remember that no real world currencies are being exchanged for any in game items or anything here; what folks do with this knowledge/information/tools is different. Example: If I need web hosting I can either do it through a service in game for ISK, or in real life for $USD and then pass that cost to my corporation by having them pay me an equivalent fee (or just one that I charge, more or less). No ISK to RMT going on there. Just services being provided/rendered/funded/paid for. I'm paying a 3rd party external company to host the stuff with my RWC, and my corporation is paying me ISK. Then we all use the stuff and everybody's happy.

Pretty quiet day, which is a good thing, right?

It is oppressively cold outside so I haven't been doing too much outside. Seems like a great reason or season to be online and playing eve Online!

What could help you find more content in Eve? PLEXing an alt account/character or two to supplement your income. Do you know how much money is in PI for example? Of course you do! It isn't all that time consuming or expensive to get a new character trained up to perfect PI skills and to have an extra revenue stream coming out of each. Heck, there are three slots on an account so you can have two PI alts per account, provided your first slot is training something important (like a capital pilot? incursion/mission pilot? mining?)

Now I come to a problem. Have you ever realized how much time goes to waste when you're planning one of these skill plans? If you're anything like me, and I know pretty much everyone started out that way, you'll start an account up and then go build the skill queue. Then you'll swap skills around all the time, move them all over the place, and sometimes forget to inject a new skill and you might even lapse a little bit.

Then you discover EveMon or some other planning tool and you never have to worry again. Except for the few lapses that might still happen. But, you set yourself a time budget in months and you plant skills. You plan out everything you need, and most likely there are a few days left at the end, completely unused. You'll never need them, right? Well, fill them up. There's no such thing as wasted skill points. There's just wasted time, and that's wasted money. So, fill them up! Plug in a whole bunch of cheap skills to Level 1 and listen to the great sound of "Skill Training Completed."

I could have used this tool when I was planning my character, because I missed a few days and there's a lot of Level 1 skills I need now that I didn't know I needed then. So, what tool is this? Introducing the PLEX Alt Training Plan Planner.

This fancy little tool will do all the math for you. Used in conjunction with EveMon or your favourite planning utility, just plug in the skill plan times, your month/PLEX/ISK budget, and throw in additional skills until my tool drops to zero. Sure you could do this all yourself, I started to. But there is a lot of math involved, converting between days hours and minutes or seconds.

So what are you waiting for? Squeeze every second out of your PLEX time and never waste a single ISK again.

Today's update is a little delayed due to a vehicle accident. My vehicle was totaled so that pretty much changes everything I wanted to do this weekend and affords me extra time to be online to assist all of you! So expect even more crazy developments from me being cooped up at home.

With all that said and done, I thought I would just push out a little bit of news regarding patches and updates. I've discovered a few issues with a few of my products and will be pushing patches out to everyone it affects. Remember, if it is a Live Update you just have to verbally accept the patch, and if it is a Field Serviceable Update then I'll be sending you instructions on how to accomplish the upgrade yourself.

These updates also come with the first two feature releases for the Corporate Wallet Manager application, which are included free of charge and are now part of the standard package available to anyone. Instead of having a RWC convert into ISK to shave off the top or just a plain ISK fee, now you can have both at the same time. So just put in the correct numbers and everything will be mathed out for you.

I definitely understand that I have a lot of words out there for you to read, and I apologize. Not everyone likes reading, as my fearless leader always says "I came here to lead, not to read!" And as such, I am working on a solution to that.

I have a website that is being built, or has already been built, I am just waiting for the server hardware to be transferred so I can put it online. Once the server is online you'll have an easier time navigating my store, seeing what I have to offer, exactly what each product does, and what every service entails. Not only that, the full document will still be available for anyone who wishes to read everything. But for the rest of us who don't want to read a book to better secure the future of their corporation, there will be a tl;dr web site with the minimal need to know information.

Speaking of exposure, you know what isn't great? Inadequate misappropriation of funds.

What do I mean by this? Well, lets think about this. You run DED sites in K-Space. You get salvage, some loot, and everyone gets some form of bounty, right? Well, for some of them. Anyway. This bounty then gets taxed indiscriminately, corporation wide, via the corporation tax. Now lets move into W-Space. No bounties and extremely valuable loot and salvage. How do you split the money? Well, if you're doing things yourself, sure you just pay yourself. If you're just two or maybe even three people, you just take an even split. Right?

Scale up to a large corporation. How do you track that income? How do you tax it? How do you make sure everyone gets paid their fair share? This is where many corporations employ spreadsheets. Now I've seen a great deal of different spreadsheet solutions for this situation. Many of them freely available on the internet for some digging. Now if you want to use that, sure thing, go at it. But I have noticed a few similarities between them all. They're not very user friendly, they're poorly designed, sometimes full of errors, and just down right ugly.
