[FIXED] - Game Freezing Every Couple of Seconds

So this has been happening on and off for a while now. Eve will freeze every few seconds for between a split second and a few seconds. It's incredibly annoying and has lost me a few ships.

Details:
It happens sometimes when I'm not doing anything, but happens frequently in big fights.
My average fps without VSYNC is 200 and with is a rock solid 60.
This happens regardless if I'm running one, two, or 3 clients and one or two monitors.
I've turned every effect off and the settings to the absolute minimum and it's still happening.
I've closed every program to no avail. I just did a fresh install of my system to see if that would fix it but again to no avail.

System Specs:
GTX 680x2
Intel 2600k
16 GBS of Ram Water cooled CPU and the GPUs never overheat

If someone could run me through a fix or point me in the right direction I'd be extremely thankful.

Found out it was an issue with Eve writing massive amounts of log data to a dying hard drive. I moved the documents folder over to my SSD and now the game is running as smooth as butter.
