Well I've stumped everybody in-game with this one so I'll try here. When clicking on my extractor control unit the "Current Cycle Output" says one number (3156 units) but under "Products" it says 5554 units are routed ... I dont understand why the cycle output is a different number than the number of units routed. Can someone check this and explain to me what this means?

Units per cycle is based on an average over extraction time I'm assuming 'products' displays the results of your current extration cycle.

Agreed. It's either the average, or more likely, the maximum amount of units that need to be routed over the course of your extraction period. I imagine it's for calculating what level of link you need to route your produts.

After checking ingame, I don't think it is related to cycles, it looks like it's maybe just how much is in the storage bin at the time ,though there is no way to 'expedited transfer' it and I don't know how big the bin is ( I suppose you could unlink it and find out though ). Check next time you start an extractor if it starts at 0 then that is probably the case.

Im almost positive that one is an average while the other is the current output. I believe output per cycle decreases over time, to the point that the first cycles usually churn up as twice as much as the last cycles, especially un hi-sec. That may be why the numbers are off to such a big extent.
