Hello

the API does not recognize materials transferred on the planet itself in between Pins, for instance P2 produced out of P1 does not get registered landing in a launchpad, but transferring it up to the poco and then back down to the same launchpad and the P2 shows up after the next refresh.

Fox Four, would be nice if you have a look at it and get that fixed, thanks!

One thing to remember is nothing shows up in the API for planetary stuff except if you access it in game first. The game client acts as the trigger for all the updates so if you don't first access the planet before the API pull it'll show everything from the last time you did access it in game.

Finds camping stations from the inside much easier. Designer of Yapeal for the Eve API. Check out the Yapeal PHP API Library thread.

To add a little:

The reason the client's the trigger, is efficiency. If it had to run everything for everyone's PI, to keep it up to date, that would take a fair chunk of processing time.

So they do it when you look. Other than the api call not giving 'accurate' data, you see no difference with it, and it does a hell of a lot less work.

Woo! CSM XI!

Thank you both for the explanation. Makes sense from the processing power standpoint, although there is always whishfull thinking. :-)

But as it seems I finaly got my real one and only wish made real this spring, I am not really in the mood for for complaining :-)
