Do you allow single pilots who are looking for a team to participate in your practices?

tl;dr: can't hurt to ask. But its up to the individual team.

There is literally nothing anyone can do to prevent someone from just showing up and watching matches or asking in local if they can fly. But to fly in the actual tournament, they have to join an alliance. And the cutoff date should be some time in the next 1-2 months.

Open practices are for teams to get scrimmages vs other teams. If a team is short players, they might consider allowing an outsider to fly with them. Player just needs to ask.

Also, due to Fight Club / sisi / tq time conflicts and shenanigans, we will be practicing on Sunday 10 April at 19:30.

With the conclusion of Fight Club, normal practice schedule will now resume, with the exception of 19:30 instead of 19:00. I expect this change to be permanent. Still Saturdays.

SInce it is going to be a while before they release the rules, I will make some ship-point adjustments

Command Destroyers - 5 Points - Don't see a lot of these in practice
T2 Logistics Frigates - 4 Points (Can field up to 2)
Navy EWAR Frigates - 3 Points (Nobody is using these at 4 points)
T1 Logistics Cruiser - 8 Points (Down from 9)
Recon Ships - 11 Points (down from 12)

Feedback is always welcome.

Thanks for posting the link, working on a YT version as well :)

Regrettably, I see no way to do this. Um... fly a buzzard with 5 explosive hardeners? Most folks use Shrapnel bombs because Hounds.

Maybe use a DST?
With autotargets, signal amps and some sebos you can max out targets and lock range, and you can do a 100m ehp tank cold on top of that.

Another option would be to watch at range with the tactical camera on, showing you the ranges. After that just need to spam enough sebos/passive targeters to get the lockrange and max number of locked targets required

Hard to track boundary violations that way.

Yeah DST might work, not too big a bump obstruction.

YT video now up - thanks to Talladar.

In light of a certain recent, ahem, event, are we to expect open practice this sunday?
If so, will rules (including team size of course) be adjusted to match those published?

We will be there on Saturday at 1930. There may be teams there on Sunday, but I don't think we will be.

Rules are the ATXIV rules released by CCP.

Please play fair. That is all.

Talladar has awesomely uploaded last weeks matches for me to YT - do people prefer the whole show as a lump or the segmented options? Unfortunately had to cut some, as twitch cut some of the audio.

Yesterday was our biggest practice yet! There were 12+ teams represented and 120 in local. I think good fights were had by all. Things ran smoothly and everyone were gentlepersons about the whole process.

Same time next Saturday.

Yeah this week was fantastic, we scrimmed with more teams than we ever have in one night and it was still only half of the teams there! Thanks for setting this up and putting up all the arenas, see you all next week Big smile

We had an overwhelming number of people today with local going to 220+ and I am guessing we had 17+ teams in local. Scrims ran pretty smoothly however we only had 5 (only) arenas and there was people waiting for matches during peak times.

If anyone wants to make arenas please do so. We need a few more if the number of teams attending remain high.

Talladar has very helpfully segmented and compiled this list from last week for your viewing pleasure.

I'll try make it down this weekend if the bitter has worn off Roll
