Yes, I laughed too. Big smile

We did enjoy the gathering, dancing around the campfires and various other activities on January First, for the second anniversary of the Tribal Assembly. It's merely a pity more people were not there to enjoy the foods, drinks, music and revelry.

While hilarious, this isn't exactly accurate.

She's mad but she's magic, there's no lie in her fire.

This is possibly one of the worst threads in the history of these forums.  - CCP Falcon

This ship has been well and truly toasted.

Special mud.

That seems especially inaccurate.

Not if you realise that whittled sticks and special mud can be interpreted as carbon fibre reinforced ceramic composite materials.

That reminds me of an age-old saying that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.

And so we create golems from magic mud that are powered with astral energy and act according to the ritual scrolls that we put into their flint brains, and fly over the skies on magic golden chariots, and throw fire and lightning from our thundersticks, wands and staves upon the cultist minions of the vampire lords, while our healers keep their potions and magic resurrection coffins ready.

How am I supposed to realise that sticks and mud means carbon fibre reinforced ceramic composite materials?

Well, whoever heard of a spaceship made of sticks and mud ?

Why not just call things by their actual names? I mean, how confused would you be if I started calling a hoohaw a gewgon?

Did you never read a single passage of an Amarrian or a Sabik scripture? They absolute can't help but use allegories, idioms, metaphors, analogies and etc.

The 'saw these signs and still not believe' portion of the Scriptures alone spawned many interpretations and jokes!

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

This guide is a farce. Both descriptors are mutually dependant, as you can't be a citizen of the Minmatar Republic without being an idiot, so by default most idiots are already savvy of the religion and history of their own nation. And fringe cases wouldn't be interested in such topics either way due to the fact they are idiots.

I suggest a rebranding of your guide for clarity, Blood Raider scum.

I feel as though everyone is taking this to be a guide for non-Minmatar persons wishing to learn about Minmatar history. I'm beginning to take another view, though. Perhaps this is designed as a basic introductory text for Minmatar?
It would certainly explain the use of "mud and sticks"; boiling down the incredibly complex material science involved in spaceflight to simple concepts, to be understood by simple people.

And in the amazing scope of your Kimfinitesimal mind, you've still proven unable to come up with a second jibe to throw at me. After all this time. You really are as bad at this as everything else, aren't you, Di-di? Do you need the concept Kimplified?

That was bad and Valate should feel bad for posting it. Since when is racism and bigotry, thinly disguised as satire, funny?

Except that gewgon is a perfectly cromulent description of a hoohaw.

I did not mean to imply that it was not. I'm anaspeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericombobulation. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to perform a most velocitous extramuralisation.

Unlike your "jibes", my description is the correct one, Arrendiot. Now cease polluting GalNet with such stupidity. Thanks in advance.
