Once again, CCP kind of too lazy to do some successful marketing lately, so let me do it for them:

Eve Valkyrie will arrive with every pre-order of an Oculus Rift which you can pre-order at 8am Pacific time. You will probably end up having a brain tumor after a few years of using it due to no long time studies, and worse, you might have to create a facebook account to actually be able to use it, but the only good thing about it is, that you get Eve Valkyrie for no additional charge as it is part of the bundle.

So yeah, after telling this to my corp, half the guys got excited and had no idea about this.

You are welcome CCP, I am sure thanks to me, at least 1 more player will play Eve Valkyrie. Oh and also, your marketing people need to be replaced.

Important Disclaimer: For the really slow half-baked people..... "only" was used sarcastically.

But what do you expect from CCP? That they spam Local with it? It was well enough covered in various Game Magazines / Websites, etc.

And if anyone should spend money to promote the Oculus, it should be Oculus. I think CCP made a great deal here, so why should they fire the Marketing people who most certainly achived this?

CCP is funny... at least add some news of it in the launcher or load-up screen, but no, what do I see? "Buy some dumb miner uniform"... poor people at CODE. that have to put up with looking at that each time they start up the game.

Don't forget to also make sure your video card is fairly powerful.
VR requires the scene to be rendered twice (ie. GPU has to do twice the work), once for each eye, and high framerates are important.

Still better value than scam citizen! 980ti should do the trick, and they have a system checker on their website, make sure your pc is up to specs.

its quite good marketing actually, oculus will market the headset and the game comes free with every one of them, they dont need to do anything, i want to work for ccp marketing department :)

Agree with Pix. If it's only available on VR, and requires third-party logins, I'm out. I'm surprised CCP haven't learned their lesson with PS3 exclusivity for DUST.
