The Chinese server does run by different rules because of Chinese law, so another company (Tiancity) runs the show.

That being said, Dayyum at those skins, they are beautiful, I'd pay some real life cash for some of them.

we have gold pods already, just need to buy the collector's edition or buy the genolution au-79 (I think that is what it is called) implant off the market.

overall skins have been pretty meh... and then you look at what serenity gets and think some of those look nice.

I'd never get any of those skins because to me they're just too outlandish and "un-EVE", because of that I can understand CCP being unwilling to use them but at the same time I wouldn't be against them being implemented. I just wish that the quality of skins we do get here would be much higher, the vast majority of them are really bad.
