Reprocessing Implants - Capped?

I've been looking to improve my refine rate by using implants, but they don't seem to have having any effect. Does anyone know if there is a cap that you can't go over even if you have the implants?

In a level 2 upgraded outpost, my current rate is 78.5% whether I am in my implant clone or not.

I know there used to be a bug were it wouldn't show the increase refining from the implant, but you would still gain the bonus. Not sure if maybe that's it?

Best bet would be to try refining a batch and see if there is a difference or not.

Be aware that implant bonus doesn't show on the UI. You have to look at what minerals you actually get, and do the math to verify.

For a Minmatar outpost with max reprocessing skills and 4% reprocessing implant:

Base: 0.50 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 72.3%
Tier 1: 0.53 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 76.6%
Tier 2: 0.57 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 82.4%
Tier 3: 0.60 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 86.8%

For a Ammar / Caldari / Gallente outpost with max reprocessing skills and 4% reprocessing implant:

Base: 0.50 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 72.3%
Tier 1: 0.52 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 75.2%
Tier 2: 0.54 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 78.1%
Tier 3: 0.57 * (1 + 5 * 0.03) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 5 * 0.02) * (1 + 0.04) = 82.4%

Took me a while to respond, but I have tested the yield of ice reprocessing. It is working, but just not displaying the 2% increase (which, if 2% of the base, should be 0.5%)

With 2% Implants

  • Heavy Water 83
  • Liquid Ozone 44
  • Strontium Calthrates 1
  • Oxygen Isotopes 386


Without Implants

  • Heavy Water 81
  • Liquid Ozone 43
  • Strontium Calthrates 1
  • Oxygen Isotopes 379
