When I first started playing in August 2013, I did a lot of salvaging since I thought it was another way to make isk but they have nerfed L4 loot so badly that now I don't even bother.

No argument there - it's nowhere near as lucrative as it once was (and it was never really something that was going to make a person rich anyway).

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I suppose it can kinda give you something to do with that multiboxed alt with a Noctis but yeah looting was never great before the grand loot nerf and now anything other than cherry picking known good stuff is bit pointless.

ATM there are only a small number of missions that I salvage/loot (mostly loot). Those being missions like Gone Berserk (lucky 35m haul last week), damsel, mordus HH and the likes/ Usually missions that involve lots of mercs or EoM.

Over the last 20 missions in a Kronos or Vargur, I got an average of 64.1 mil an hour in asset gain, @aprox. 1500ISK/LP (lowest was 1432 highest was 1577). That was accepting every non burner mission that was not against an empire, and killing and salvaging everything. .Separate .5 systems for the same corporation, no SoE.The exception was Recon (1 of 3), which I only killed and salvaged the first room. That was my highest@ 132M ISK per hour. Lowest was 32. I used this format in calculations...

0.333 hours...
Enter the mission reward... 1030000
Enter the bonus, if any... 1010000
Enter the Bounty earned... 9075000
Enter Loyalty Points earned... 5830
How many isk per loyalty point do you convert?... 1432
Enter the value of the loot/salvage, if any... 7450000
26,913,560 Total Isk... 80,740,680 ISK per hour was earned running Pirate Invasion
in a Kronos

Cashed in to buy orders in a hub 2 jumps away, so no waiting for the market PvP, and not losing much (if any) on the salvage and drop value because there's never any good loot, ever. Well, there wasn't any in my last 20 missions. I got a nice Domination MWD on my Vargur from AE bonus room once.

Seems like Burners would make more money for me, but blitzing wouldn't.

If waiting on salvage drones takes too long, train bring a Noctis.

Don't forget to watch dscan for probes, cause the Noctis isn't too hard to scan down either.

It pretty much goes Burners > Blitzing > Full Clear > Mining in terms of solo income in the current eve market.

Jita Trading > C5/6 Farm > 0.0 Burners > Burners > Haven/Sanctum > Incursions > Blitzing > Full Clear > Ice Mining 0.0 > Ice mining > Mining 0.0 > Mining

Just from personal experience doing all of the above.

With only 1 account you won't be making any extra isk over time and you'll be doing a hell of a lot more micromanagement.

Burners/blitzing will net you in excess of 150m ISK/hour.
Team Burners/mission clearing will net you in excess of 125m ISK/hour.
Mission clearing or mission clearing/salvaging will net you around 65m ISK/hour.
Blitzing missions is below 50m ISK/hour unless combined with Burners.

All of these numbers reflect standard 0.5 or 0.6 non-SoE Empire Faction agents, so you can expect these values to be about 25-40% higher if you're running SoE agents exclusively. Faction or rare implant drops will obviously increase your ISK, but these tend to be feast or famine.

I've found that ultimately doesn't really matter which ship you use for clearing as long as you're able to crank out 1100 or so DPS to a range of 80-100km. Marauders are still my personal preference, though.
