ratting back up from -10 to 0 has never been much of an issue. I used to do it in outer ring with a pilgrim before tags were a thing, and it took 4 hours or so. For many people, that's about the time they need to make the 400 million ISK to do it with Tags these days, so - seems about right to me.

I'm gonna guess he just doesn't want to be shot on sight by capsuleers without them getting a sec status hit.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

If only it did buldath, I'd have stayed one for the fights.

It doesn't bring any good fights for one reason: The NPC's respond to your low sec status earlier (-2 and lower) than players are allowed to (-5 and lower). This is supposed to be a player driven game, the players should be the first responders. Swap it round so that players can attack at -2 and lower and have the invincible NPC's only go after the REALLY naughty chaps (-5 and lower) and you'd have a window of sec status where good fights happen.
