SpaceX successful landing of a reusable rocket

I know Blue Origins did a straight up and down launch and landing a short time ago, which is also an important development, if not just for the additional knowledge of getting it right, but the additional factors to the SpaceX Falcon 9 launch, and the successful landing from that are what mark it as 'Here we go!' for marking a new ability in space flight.

It is an amazing feat and will hopefully lead to reusable space tech in the future.

That's a big step forward, and now the next ones are to refit and relaunch the rocket in a sensible amount of time and budget, unlike the Space Shuttle and its massive overhauls that kept the craft grounded for months after each launch.

That's the big thing. We have the shuttle as an example of how that ideal didn't pan out. But, in this case, we don't have so much of the creeping influence of major players that really didn't want space to become cheaper. At least for now.


As for Ms Bia***: Space X-plosion? Space-X' record as really been pretty good for a group starting in this field. The exception with the explosion stands out so much because of the relatively calm record.
