Hi all

Im looking at asking my girlfriend to marry me at fanfest 2016 and im looking for any ideas .

This is our first time to Fanfest

give her the ring wrapped up in a years subscription to eve, and make sure the ring is tanzanite,

I would suggest a trip to the glacier, and not the main concourse of evefest.

My wife suggests that, during one of the sessions, you get the presenter to slip a slide into the PowerPoint and surprise your GF in the middle of the presentation. On the other end of the spectrum, she also suggests a trip to a hot springs or hot tub or a restaurant, skipping the presentations, and make a special proposal just for you two.

Book an Helicopter tour, put pilots in secret, give him a cam, land on Eyafjallajökull, ask her there !
Also work with Mount Esja, cheaper, and you have Reykjavik in the background.

If you decide to go for the restaurant as someone suggested I would highly recommend this one. My husband and I went there for our 2 years wedding anniversary/late honeymoon (also first trip to Iceland), then again the next year with another couple.

The staff is excellent,the food is great and while Perlan is supposed to be "the" restaurant it has nowhere near the same atmosphere.
