Losing, winning... It only counts when its a contract, otherwise it don't really matter. EVE is a GAME. A lot of people forget it and get enraged about it, make it a second job and take it too personally.

You for example, miss irelevant NPC alt, what is your purpose? You're either a Tora alt, one of his cronies or another raging merc alt, I've met a few. Or you wouldn't even care to come here to try to sink P45 lol.

And to answer your questions: A) Nobody is hunting Marmites, nobody cares much, but a lot of us have fun seeing Tora rage on every forum, media or KB commenting on us. All that energy spent for us, CD must be tounching the right nerve. It's all an ego trip from my PoV.
B) Except for maybe BAW, all mercs are pretty much the same nowadays (and it make sense, it is mostly the same players rotating from a merc corp to another).

the only time Merc A goes to war with Merc B is to curb stomp the living F%#@ out of merc B and make themselves look good. And it's only when that attempt fails does the goal of the war become "fun" the fact that this is an alt doesn't change the validity of any of the points I've made (at least the ones I wasn't trolling about).

Also none of those were my question. If you please go back and read, You will see that I very clearly stated, What sets your group apart. And warrants any one hiring you, Vs the numerous number of mercs that are available.. My remark about you losing to marmites was simply to give you **My** opinion on why people should not hire you... vs the numerous number of mercs available. So now, Are you caught up with the rest of us Ms. Mary?


*edit* If your answer is "there isn't a difference" Then I would assume any one would go to the other merc groups who seem to have more Cohesion, And BAW is reference in almost all merc forums for being the standard of what a hunting Merc alliance should be, so why should I hire scrubs like CD when I could go hire BAW? Or EVEN MARMITE Who have absolutely blown you away.

I'm calling bullshit here. Might want to read your own alliance mail from 2016-05-13 19:57:00, send by Kypp, telling everyone its a paid contract. Good to see you enjoy the CD bashing as much as I do. Then again, you do make it pretty easy for me. Killing your own Orca bait, Sue abort saying it doesnt matter if you fail contracts. One stupid lose after another. Kypp raging on comms that EVERYONE should be there or be kicked, Sue raging about no tank Svipuls and Kypp saying Svipuls are no longer allowed, Xorphix telling everyone that they should act like real mercs and stop failing, then leaves CD because he cant take the stupidity any more, spies getting in CD so easy (your security sucks), making new mailing lists because it realllly helps if the spies are already inside.

Wow, so my attempts to get this thread back on track have been thoroughly derailed lol.

Ok to deal with the issues, Tora, in your churlish response to my on topic post I didn't respond because you had not asked a question you made a series of statements to illicit a response, which I chose not to respond because it was not on topic and also because I did not wish to encourage you to continue to post in here, in fact I have on numerous occasions invited you to open a thread to discuss said matter, all of which have fallen on deaf ears.

So the truth...the truth is Tora your alliance is leaking members, since the start of the year you have recruited around 15 corporations and lost around 16.

You have gone from over 150 members to 95 a drop of over 35% then accounting for the Marminions which are alts that's another 29 plus Vic's 1 man corp that is also an Alt that takes you to circa 65 members meaning in reality you have circa 44% of the pilots you had 6 months ago.

On the subject of spies, there are spies in every alliance, that is eve, pointing it out is rhetorical, the mailing list change was genuinely logistical, sorry buddy it was lol.

The Orca...oh the Orca, simply because you have eventually asked a question, was it bait?, yes, did we kill it? yes, and you want to know something, it was great fun, we had a ball, betting on who'd get final blow and laughing and joking with one another as it died slowly, it's inexorable decline to a wreck which Murdock managed to salvage with the bumping Mac (Nicely done sir)...but above all else we had fun, we played a game and we enjoyed it...that is what CD is, people joining in and having fun, not acting like this is a job or taking it too seriously.

T3CHN0 G3N3RAL; In response to the initial post/question you made...consider the wording if you will, hostile and negative, you have no interest in an objective discussion, to talk with you is to discuss your prejudices, that is pointles. I shall however answer the question and address a couple of your points as it would be rude not to and Tora's spies can tell you I honestly hate rudeness...not trying to be a smart arse there it's true!

We have lost ships to Marmite, their ability to catch lone pilots off guard is exceptional, Murdock is especially good at it, but that is in essence the point Ms Mary raised; it has been solitary single ship engagements, we have failed to achieve many kills because in equal force Marmite will not engage (Not a criticism just an absolute statement of fact), we all know why because there's no such thing as a fair fight. This addresses the point regarding why you should hire CD, we are active in more regions and more systems than many other Merc alliances, in fact I believe that only Archetype can boast a wider range of activity at the moment, we are prepared to bring fleets to fights and most importantly we love doing it, we enjoy what we do and that makes us motivated, it makes us active...and of course because I'm here and I want you to, please :) That...That is why you should hire CD.

But please for the love of tritanium open a new thread to discuss this, I can barely keep track of my times for bumping.

What did you all do that was special? 75% of your kills are in Jita or the surrounding systems? Looking at your kills against complaints department it looks 75% of them fit the same scenario.

Maybe you all could be called the "stationary merc hunters"? You let the mercs come to you?
