Unless i'm wrong, it only shuts off mwd/mjd when scripted. But yes, its focused range is going to be much higher now.

This is the most ridiculous comment I have seen in a while. Lets break it down (please note all numbers below are all V skills).

Lach T2 Scram: 18km
Lach T2 Scram Heat: 21.6km

Lach Best Faction Scram: 22.5
Lach Best Faction Scram Heat: 27km

Skirmish Links + Lach Best Faction Scram: 29.9 km
Skirmish Links + Lach Best Faction Scram Heat: 35.1km

HIC: 37.5km scripted scram


So a Lach with a 170m Scram AND skirmish links with a skirmish mind link is 2km under what a HIC can do for half the cost with no links. Factor in that a HIC is capable of achieving 200k ehp with relatively inexpensive fits and this further compounds how ridiculously misinformed your comment is.

I do not have a huge issue with 37.5km HIC scrams and time will tell how OP they prove to be. But it is stupid to say that its not a big shake up because its what "a Lachesis has always been able to do".

Pretty sure you are just trolling and did not fully read my post. It is not the 2km that is the concern it is the fact you can do it at half the cost, with no links on a ship that can be tanked quite easily to 200,000 ehp.

Like i say i do not have a huge issue with it overall and we will have to wait and see how the meta changes.
