Launcher "Downloading Launcher Update" not doing anything

As the titles states, the launcher displays "Downloading Launcher Updates", but no progress is made. Repair tool and clearing cache did nothing. Downloading and reinstalling launcher from the download link in the help center also did nothing.

Any other ideas I could attempt?

Having the same issue with the launcher. Also tried downloading the launcher fresh, the graphic changed, but was still stuck on 'downloading launcher update.' For me, the repair tool is dling a 23.45MB patch (frostline? this is my first login since the update) at around 15kb/s once I get 40% into the download.

*edit*
Repair tool downloaded the 23.45MB patch, then another at around 22MB. Fired the launcher up, it downloaded ~35MB then I was able to hop in game. The repair tool and the final launcher downloads took probably 1.5 hours.
