BCS, Cal Navy BCS and your DPS

Fair warning, after the last patch there is a bug with DPS numbers on missiles when using a BCS or CNBCS.

It seems docking up, offlining all BCS mods and putting them back online can sometimes fix this, sometimes it actually incorrectly stacks up your DPS higher than it should.

Bug report submitted, anyone else?

Tested using Garmur and BCS with Polarized and T2 rocket launchers.

CCP Quant: Of all those who logon in Eve, 1.5% do Incursions, 13.8% PVP and 19.2% run Missions while 22.4% mine.

40.7% Join a fleet. The idea that Eve is a PVP game is false, the social fabric is in Missions and Mining.

I've seen this happen on every missile-based hull I use (the DPS is usually misreported as being double the correct value).

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I too have seen it wrong often, this is the first time it was wrong and it translated into wrong damage being applied to the NPC though. I couldn't even dent the worm until I checked and saw 135 dps was my output... with 3 BCS on a garmur and T2 rockets Shocked

I have not seen the reverse (where it was lower) nor have I seen the misreported amount applied (which would've been sweet, as the Golem at the time was indicating over 2300 missile DPS).

fitting window has had a long running bug of applying the wrong ship's bonuses to the active ship. Typically reloading ammo will fix it. Usually when actually shooting stuff it uses the correct numbers. if you found a way to shoot stuff with the wrong numbers, that would be a more serious matter, like with what happened to scooping/redeploying bonused drones a while ago.

although mousing over the rocket in the garmur says 137 damage, where in the show info window it says 114.47 damage. 137 agrees with what EFT says. and the fitting window DPS is a wee bit high. I dunno what the **** to say...

I have seen the numbers go all kinds of wacky weird on the fitting window and in my module ui, but this one takes the cake.

Where da web?

Seriously, two webs one icon... nice ccp, nice.

there is a bug when you fit an unpackaged module sometimes it doesn't show up. and instead in space you have an empty slot. I assume you have hide passive mods and hide empty slots. otherwise you would see an "empty" midslot button.

yay brian in a box!

I have one to top that. On several occasions I've jumped through a gate only to reappear on the other side with no capacitor, no shield and no armor with all my modules offlined - and no ability to online them because I've somehow exceeded my configuration. You can't jump through the gate, either - so your only recourse is to eject/reboard or find a port. Yeah...
