Wormhole Audio Issue

Prior to the patch, when a wormhole entered a state and was in a state of significant/critical mass disruption a corresponding audio sound would occur. This sound seems to have disappeared as of the most recent patch.

Is this something that will be fixed like the wormhole activation sound or was it intentionally removed?
