Anchoring POS modules - no more snap to grid?

What happened to the anchoring interface snapping to a grid for anchoring POS modules, I can't work with this freeform anchoring... I need a grid to align things to...

Is there an option to go back? If there is I can't find it.

I don't remember seeing a function for that, option, menu....

you should open a support ticket for a GM answer.

+1 to wanting snap to grid back.
Failing that can we have the box be red if it's going to generate an anchoring error and green otherwise?

As someone with more than plenty of towers to manage, the snapping was very useful to get things set up quickly. Is this something that can be turned back on?

why are you still asking there for a player to help?

open a ticket, that's the ONLY way to get an answer (ticket as in web assistance, not F12/bug report which doesn't get answer, you can do both I guess if you consider it's a bug and not a new feature)

which will either be :
- it's by design, deal with it
- it's a bug we'll look into it
(with nicer words as they are really pro at this and doing a real job of reading and answering as humans)

if it is the first answer, feel free then to post in the "Idea forum" or the "December patch feedback" thread, or better start rallying troop on general :)

but I feel so helpless seeing player asking for ccp to do something here...
