Endless Resources loading?

Anybody else have issues with resources seemingly endlessly load at the character screen and upon docking? I seem to remember this being an issue - was it resolved?

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

can you try "download all the files" from the launcher sttings?

then after it finishes downloading, close game and launcher and run "rescache.exe" a program in eve folder
wait until completion : it may be long, real long, minutes or hours.

you should never see a resource loading again.

Well the things, I have tried have included - clearing the caches, and deleting all the log files. I'm a little reluctant to download everything though as i imagine its a very long downloard- but I guess it couldnt hurt to try.

the whole game is about 16GB total

rescache.exe or "download all file" will go look the delta between the streamed data and the full game and will probably download a few GB

the problem is : there are issues reported by lots of players here of download issue from the content servers (CDN) this could explain why stuff is "loading" for a long time in game
but will be awfully long for downloading the files too.

I hope you don't get stuck at few kb/s download speed
(in that case best bet is to try a friend, preferably with different ISP, or work computer if available, and copy the whole sharedcache folder on a usb stick to overwrite your own, then run "rescache.exe" just to be sure)
