Launcher in Offline mode

I can log into TQ using that server's launcher just fine, but Sisi's launcher patches to v2.2.978970 and stays in offline mode thereafter.

I tried deleting the launcher folder and running the repair.exe. The launcher will come up after that, but it immediately patches itself, restarts and is back in offline mode after that. Why the repair.exe is pulling files that need to be immediately patched is beyond me.
