No, you are buying 28 plex (28billion isk/2+ years of game time) and getting some free skins, its like getting the little toy in the cereal box, you buy the cereal for the cereal the toy is just a little extra

My arse ,as a parent I can verify that most of the decision making around cereal is the toy.

Only marginally beaten out by wether the shugar content is toxic for non-5 yolds

You know, when you make a big purchase over 500 bucks in the corner shop, and get a free piece of candy with it? Doesn't mean you bought a piece of candy for 500 bucks. It's the same here. You buy 28 PLEX, and you get a bonus on top. If you want the SKIN, and are unwilling to buy 28 PLEX all at once, buy them on the market afterwards. The SKINS don't cost 28 PLEX. If anything, they cost nothing, because you get 28 PLEX and SKINs for the price of 28 PLEX and no SKINs. Freebies!

That used to be a thing when OEM software first emerged. You could buy thirty dollar mouse mats with a free copy of Microsoft Office bundled in. At some stage people must have changed licensing conditions because all that random stuff with "free" OEM software bundled eventually disappeared.

People are always yelling about how the PLEX price is too high, and that CCP should fix it. Surely an influx of PLEX can't hurt in that reagard.

It isn't the result that bothers me, it's the method they're using to obtain said result. There are plenty of ways to get people to buy these things with out resorting to this tactic.
