At the moment I only have 1 character, but I see that I have 2 more slots free in my acount, is it viable to start the other caracters and queue some training skills for diferent porposes than my main, like a secundary that is focus on industrial our mining?
Also can I send money from one character to another?

Alts as they are called, are very common in EVE. Incredibly common actually.

When it comes to training skills, you can only have one active skill queue per account. You can however use a PLEX to activate an extra skill queue for a second character that will be available for 30 days. Most people that use alts go with a second account so that they can train it indefinitely. However, people will commonly make very specialized characters with one or two months of training on their main account as well. Personally I have a hauler alt I've almost finished on my main account. I may extend the queue further to give him some PI skills. You can make a station trading alt, cyno alt, etc...

You can indeed send money from character to character. Just right click their name and in the drop down menu find "Give Money".

Don't start an alt until you have an explicit purpose for doing so.

I have 2 accounts - 2 mains and 3 alt characters that get logged into at least occasionally.

At present, Sabriz and iPod are both combat capable and the alts just do science and production work (which Sabriz and iPod can also do).

You can only log on to one character at a time on any account. So if you want to train an alt you are much better off just starting a second account. That way you can log into both accounts at once. Also the ability to get cheaper subscription prices than PLEXing.

Using unskilled alts can be helpful also. A couple examples off of the top of my head are for things like scouting or you could have an alt sitting in Jita 4-4 to check market prices and/or buy sell stuff.

To me however the bottom line is if you don't know if you should have an alt training or not then you should not waste the money on the second training character. If as your game play changes you come across a need for one you can always start one at that point.

Some other things to point out:
There are some needs for alts with a low amount of training. This could be things like market skills or PI skills or a hauler alt or cloaky camper alt or many other things that I can't think of currently.

You can trade a character from one account to another and I believe it costs a PLEX to do so. If you use the refer-a-friend option and start a trial account using a different email address once you put time on the trial your main account will be able to choose a PLEX as the refer-a-friend bonus. So you can train the alt all that you like and then when you have the alt where you want it then you essentially have a free transfer with the PLEX that you got .

Also worth noting is that every once in a while CCP does a "power of two" promotion where they give players a chance to start a second account and get 6 months of training for pretty cheap. I can't recall exactly what it is but I remember it being a significant reduction versus the cost of 6 months of trianing.

Also EVEmon can be very helpful for decision making in stuff like this. You just create and unskilled alt and bring that alt's skills into EVEmon and make skill plans for what you want to do. You can then see how remapping will help and implants and such as well as see how long it will take to train the alt to where you want it to be. This can help you make decisions on what is the best way to go about it.

Also worth noting is that the remap timer and bonus remaps I am pretty sure are account wide. So you could start the alt on the second account and burn through all the remaps to get fast training and then transfer the character to your main account.

I know that this is a lot of information for a new player but maybe now you see why I say if you don't know if you should train a second character or not then you probably should not worry about it until you do.

If you go the piracy route, a hauling alt can be invaluable. Buying ships/mods and hauling them in an industrial when you have below -5 sec status (or a ton of kill rights on you) is not very practical.

Of course there are ways around it without using alts (courier contracts, for example...) but sometimes the alt is just a bit more handy.

if you use a second account for the alt, you can haul while playing (just don't autopilot) or use him as a scout when not hauling.

The most common thing to do with the two extra slots is to flip your training queue onto one of the two extra slots for a few weeks and

1. train into PI
2. train a hauler for NPC corp hauling to avoid war decs
3. train a station trader
4. make a forum alt to shitpost here

Just because you don't have an active training queue on that character doesn't mean you can't play with it. If you train two PI alts, you can run PI with all three characters at the same time

Alts are substitutes for other players. The more alts you make, the easier it is to play single-player and not rely on others.

Whether that is positive or negative is up to you.

Oi it's not that bad tbh.

I have one friend in my mains' corp who has over 200 characters.

Granted they're all made using the power of two special and he makes them purely to train and sell off in the character bazaar. It's a lucrative trade though, he's the only person in eve I know personally that's a multi-trillionaire lol (he was even nice enough to sell me this character at a discount price).

Fair enough. I just can't imagine keeping track of them all.
