Hello. Very new to the game. Second day actually.

I'm trying one of the Industry missions where I have to find some fairly hard to find ores. I think it's "Making Mountains of Molehills" Mission 6.

You're making boosters. Anyhow all I can seem to find if Veldspar. I'm looking for Proxeres, Plagioclase and some others.

Is there a way to find specific ores without actually going there? Or to at lease narrow the search?


Any help would be appreciated.

There are three options really.

1. Just buy the ore
2. go to the regions that spawn it and mine it
3. run security missions that spawn it

option 1 is the easiest and the way most people go.

Pyroxeres (Amarr / Caldari High Sec) or Plagioclase (Gallente / Minmatar High Sec) is what you're looking for depending on your location.

Also bear in mind that asteroid belts get mined out quite quickly in high traffic areas like the career agent systems, you may have to wait until just after downtime for the roids to respawn if you want to mine it yourself.
