Ok go mine some blue ice and report back.

I should report you for encouraging people to do something illegal.

did someone forget to lock the doors to CAOD again?
Well, he's in an NPC corp, but that would explain a hell of a lot, wouldn't it… What?
Vernn wrote:
Unable to respond? I have made many logical arguments.
No, you've made a lot of nonsensical and noise about Kestrels — stuff that is instantly proven as untrue and only a result of your over-active imagination. You haven't actually responded to anything anyone has told you in this thread, as your further repetition of your Kestrel fetish shows.

Posting all of this on my main would be moronic. Then your jabs would be warranted.

how much is "some"?

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Yeah dude, we get it. Big funny face, stupid corp name, you make funnies. You're big rebels. So funny taking advantage of poor game mechanics to get your jollies off other's grief.

You sir are a WINNER!

Well, could you please go back to CAOD and spew your particular brand of fictional nonsense there instead then?

Nope. That's why, of the two of us, I'm not the one who's demanding that legal gameplay must be disallowed from certain parts of space for completely fabricated reasons.

so, like 18-20 blocks then ...

you do realise that's like 10m ISK, and you would do a lot better just mining veldspar, right?

oh well...

@ Lady Harlot -- if I give you 40 ISK, and a shot with the OP's sister, you think I could take a peek at the Goonswarm ice patrols for the next ... oh, 4 hours? Twisted

The point was not about the cost, it was about the viability of in fact sitting there for two hours mining ice and staying intact.

We disagree. There is nothing wrong with that. You have made it known you disagree with me. You may be on your way.

I certainly wouldn't call my views fabricated. What I've said is true.

A few people have in essence shut down a significant portion of the eve economy and in the process griefed many many players while risking nothing more than..............................................

kestrels

Now seeing as how this is a game that is clearly based on risk/reward then I'm sure you would agree that what I just said is most certainly fact and not fabricated, and that it lacks any form of balance that would pertain to any idea of risk versus reward.

On this point you're completely wrong (and you're the 2nd person I've had to correct on this point today.) EVE is not really a game, per se, it is a virtual world. It is not 'supposed' to be exciting or boring. It is not 'supposed' to be easy or hard. It is not 'supposed' to be fun or excruciating. Any more than life is. But the mechanics need to make sense and be 'fair' or else the integrity of the virtual world and the sense of immersion are compromised.

Botting, exploits and flawed (unfair) game mechanics are poison to virtual worlds. CCP has a long track record of neglect in these areas and that is indeed the single biggest problem holding EVE back from its potential.

Huh?

EVE is a video game

EVE is a Multiple Massively Online Roleplaying Game

I bolded the important part.

EVE is fun to me...if it wasnt fun, I wouldn't be playing. I think most people feel this way that play video games

You know, if you prove yourself wrong that quickly, people won't believe anything you've said.

So whether or not you would call it fabricated isn't particularly relevant since your trustworthiness has taken a head-long dive off a cliff. What matters is that it's all nonsense (and easily disproven nonsense at that).

Maybe. You just need to demonstrate how, and with your image as a pedlar of hallucinations, you'll have some problems doing that at this point…

So suicide ganking isn't griefing? Lets be honest, we are splitting hairs at this point.
No, we're not splitting hairs. Suicide ganking is just standard non-consensual PvP where the attacker is willing to pay with his ship for a chance to kill the target. Griefing isn't allowed in EVE and will get you banned.
Quote:
Make things a bit more difficult for pirates? They don't seem to be having any difficulties. In fact it doesn't seem to have slowed them down at all.

Make them legal targets to attack? Why would anyone attack them when they are flying around throw away ships? There is no motivation.
Why attack them? Because that makes things more difficult for them and because, even in throw-away ships, you're taking things away from them (in particular, you're robbing them of the thing that really hurts: the kill). It's not the game's fault if you give them carte blanche to do what they want.

Oh, and it does indeed slow them down, because the logistics of the whole thing becomes a bit more complicated and because they no longer have a free choice of ships to use.

So you're saying I need to kill them so much that they run out of.............................

200k ISK ships

An hour of ice mining would get them.........................

50 200k ISK ships

And you want me to stop them by blowing up all their 200k ISK ships?
