Is it possible to fit a oneiros to tank a level 4 mission? If so, what sort of fit would I need to go with?

Against Kin/Therm rats it would be easy the others not so much, but why would you want to use a logi ship in a level4 mission?

Speed fit:

Put on an Afterburner and orbit your DPS ship while applying reps. If your fitting skills are up to it you can put a local rep on also as well as a few hardeners.

Something like 3 Large reppers, an AB, 2 hardeners, a local Medium repper and the rest cap to get stable, then whatever else you want if there's anything left.

Just FYI:
I've got an oneiros fit that can tank null-sec anoms against sansha rats (EM/Therm) which is not its strong suit. Level 4 should be totally fine just make sure you're trained up on fitting, capacitor and repper skills. Also, logi 5 makes the difference for keeping things running.

Not just kin/therm rats. A single EM hard and you're good against blood and sansha. Against angels, shield tank. You should be able to keep far enough away to be out of trouble anyway.

But if you have two toons in a mission room, better to make them both dps ships anyway.

I'd say that there's a case to be made otherwise, mostly drawing from personal experience. I recall a time where I had just finished training logi ships and I wanted to practice basic maneuvers and techniques before coming under PvP fire. So, the person I intended to fly with also did some missions to get money for his ships, and going along for level 4 missions seemed like a decent way to practice. During these missions, he talked at length about times past of his PVP battles, what went wrong, what to look out for, all the while sprinkling in more basic stuff like practicing following commands and keeping an eye on the larger battlefield as a whole.

Too bad I haven't been able to make use of that basic training, but that's another matter.

Anyway, other people who might enjoy helping out corpmates and not have DPS skills could also theoretically have a place in a mission. "Hey, I've got nothing to do right now but I have this logi ship, how's about you equip more DPS, let me worry about your reps, and let's fly!" Remember, this IS an MMO, and there's something to be said about doing things simply for the sake of interacting with other people.

I buy into this idea of using missions as a basic training ground for a logi pilot cause I have been there and still do that, the rest of it not so much.
In the time it takes to train skills for an effective logi pilot you can train the skills needed to fly some if not all level 4 missions solo.
Even if you do not buy into that you can certainly train enough skills to add significant DPS to the team effort and it is DPS that gets you though the missions quicker not more reps.
