Ok, I'm a little confused, I was checking the market trends -> http://ore.cerlestes.de/index.html#site:trend When I noticed that the buy and sell price for many items were separating heavily. I cannot think of any logical economic reason for this, does anyone else know what this is? The only thing that I can think of is either market manipulation, or the goons dropped off their load of veldspar that they had been collecting for the month :P

It depends on the items

There are a number of items - particularly things that get dropped in missions - that are worth more if you reprocess them and sell the minerals (or use them to make something people want)

Depending on the market, it is not uncommon to see items 'valued' at 50 or 60k with the only buy orders for them being 0.01 isk
