Mining units/cycle

I am too tired to calc it. Maybe somebody can just tell me:

Exhumer 4 Arkonor = units/cycle
Exhumer 5 Arkonor = units/cycle

addition of Rorqual bonus, Capital Indu 4?

and Arkonor is the best to mine?

or any tools to calc this? in the end I want of course ISK/hour at current Jita prices.

First off, you don't give a ship fit (number and type of MLUs, type of mining laser, T1, T2 with T1 crystals, T2 with T2 crystals) nor pilot implant details (there's two that can matter).
The difference between none/T1 or all of them plus T2/T2 is quite significant, almost half extra.

Second, what other skills does the Rorqual pilot have ? Does he use the mining mindlink ? Is he using a T1 or a T2 cycle time bonus module ?
While the difference there is a bit less radical, it's still a difference.

All in all you're looking at a "fudge factor" of almost *2 between worst case and best case scenario.
And that's before considering whether or not you miss any mining cycles, or whether the haulers do their work properly, or how much ISK you have to pay for the mining op out of what you mine (for the haulers and the rorqual pilot), the cut of the local refinery (unless you plan to move all to a NPC station, in which case, how much you pay for those haulers) and so on and so forth.

VERY ballpark, with loads of assumptions which may or may not be accurate ?
30-40 mil ISK/hour. Tops. Probably less than that.

...

You might want to try EFT.
Just make sure you select both the Rorqual and the Hulk properly, with the Hulk receiving bonuses from the Rorqual.
And have the right skills and implants selected for both pilots that you stick in those ships.
You still need to convert cubic meters per minute into ISK per hour, but that's not THAT hard.

For ore prices, use http://www.bsacse.amxg4.com/tools/index.php?id=oreincome
Arkonor is ~348 ISK / m^3 right now, give or take.
A Hulk at max skills mines anywhere between:
* 1116 m^3/minute (solo, no MLU, T1 gear, no implants, no mining drones) to
* 2111 m^3/minute (solo all-maxed but with T2 mining drones, including T2 rigs, next to no tank ; 1705 m^3/min from the lasers, rest from drones)
* and for the same maxed one above but with a "perfect Rorqual" nearby, 3355 m^3/min.

So, technically, you could go up to almost 77 mil ISK/hour under the most perfect of circumstances (no taxes, no contributions, always the +10% ore variant mined, no breaks, no partial activations, no drone travel time waste, no other interruptions, perfect maxed-out everything, direct sales at market prices bypassing market fees and so on and so forth) which you're unlikely to EVER achieve.
In reality, you'd be lucky if you can get even half of that in actual ISK you're left with at the end.
Probably even less. So, again, 40 mil tops, if you're lucky. Probably less than 30 mil normally.

no implants, t2 crystals of course, orca/rorqual with ming director 3, MLu not on all hulks, 1 need to tank.

30-40-50 m/h would mean 3-4-5 hulks to equal a 150 m/h incursion runner. If it is 3, I would say, maybe ... , but 4-5 would suck.

woah... so it is really true: Miners are the losers of most professions, compared to mining by shooting drones or ratting for bounties etc.

Arkonor = 16 m3/unit.

[strip yield] / 16 = units per minute.

take units per minute * 60 and you'll get your hourly yield.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

You really need to do it per cycle so the rounding works properly

units/hr =20*3*ROUNDDOWN(Strip Yield/16)
