Big storm rolling through Pacific Northwest as well and it's messing up the nodes. Today would not be a day for anybody playing from this region to be deploying Geckos.

"storm" is the exact technical terms used in telecommunication when something like that happens ;) (along with "oh sh*t we are sooo f*cked up)

it will be more than a day to smooth things over, I guess ppl with ISP going trough this routes should be patient

Just had about 30 guys ina fleet (most of us in US) disconnected and unable to log back in, getting server unreachable errors

update: Now have DCed multiple folks 3x and counting in last 30 minutes

CCP please tell your network provider to quit peering with someone thats having BGP issues. Itll make so much less work on your Gm's than reimbursing all our ships and having us all pissed off. If this happened to me at work, wed be shopping for a new ISP about 6 hrs ago.

The last update I had from the Telecity data centre in London was that they started to power down at 2:50am for the 60 seconds, we were still waiting over 30 minutes later, again interrupting traffic for the offline period.

They should be good now I believe.

Thanks, CCP, for the reimbursements and that you did not allow these disconnects to become a player problem, but that you took it onto yourself!

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

God they are literally killing eve themselves.
We have been for 12 years and still are currently and shall for next decade THROW money at ccp to play freaking Internet spaceships.

They just ruin it for themsleves. Its like a man that has the world turn in2 a junkie and **** it all away.
Get help ccp
That hardware is still in testing and has not yet been set up for production; the relevance to this network/power incident is none.

quite likely the Telecity drop - Telecity Fail - caused chaos all over.
Indeed, per "knocked out four floors at Telecity's Sovereign House data centre" then TQ is not one of the four floors that was knocked out but many of our network providers were.

Accept raw fact Explorer, it's always your fault.

Get better providers!

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
