Am I missing something here?

It's not based on anniversaries: it's based on time-since-final-remap-used. This is important because new characters get 2 remaps, but the third one won't show until a full year after using the second remap.

In previous remap givaways, the new remap killed that one year timer, so if you are going to get a new remap in, say, january, you may as well pick a destroyer you like the look of.

It's time for more delicious brain implants. After downtime on Dec 12th and running through Dec 21st , you will find the Genolution CA-2 available via the redemption system. Be sure to log in and redeem yours, the set bonus is pretty darn nice overall.

As an added bonus, we will also be unveiling the 2011 Holiday Gift during the same period. This will work just a bit differently than prior holiday gifts. There will be a list of items in your Account Management queue. You can choose one, and only one, gift from the list. That gift will then be made available in the redemption system on Dec 22nd.

Yes, I saw that mate. I wanted to know if we have 2 weeks from the 22nd to claim the chosen gift or if they will sit in the redeem box forever.

meaning you have that time period to choose. i guess it can be interpreted any number of ways.

This is what I want to know. The remap is the only thing I'm interested in, but I'm due for a remap on the 28th of next month. I don't want to blow my 1 year timer to save a whole 12 days on my pre-remap plan.

Tried to find out for you guys, My next Neural remap isn't available until 7/23/2012, so I selected Neural Surgery and pressed Continue only to tell me the items wouldn't be redeemable until 12/22/2011.

So I have a question because I'm still a bit confused. I have a remap coming up on January 6th, if i choose the gift of a free remap, what will happen to the remap i have coming on the 6th?

Will i have 1 remap available on the 22nd and then get another one on the 6th or will this just reset the timer on the remap i already have and shorten my wait time by 14 days?

I really don't understand why gift remaps were not recoded to work this way after the same complaints arose after the learning skills went away.

It is rather obvious that the "intended mechanic" was not originally designed to allow for gift remaps, since, some players benefit more than others. It should *not* work this way and should have been fixed.

Joining in with the crowd of January remaps that have selected the remap gift from CCP wondering what will happen.



If CCP allows this to stack with other remaps and not with fractional remaps its completely unfair as some characters will basically have multiple remaps that other characters will never be able to attain.

I have remap in about 1 month so I hope it will add remap instead of just reset timer. Was sort of mad last time I got screwed with the free remap.

I have had a remap available for months now, I want this one to stack. I will use it when I want, and then be able to remap back whenever. if it doesn't stack, it is not worth taking.
