Please can there be a big red sign at the top of the screen that tells you when you have hit this button and your ship intends to jump, because ive hit it a few times by accident and it was fine till i lost a pricy ship to it.

Theres no message, no log, or indication that it will auto jump after warp, none at all. Id be happy with a pop up (with a check box to stop it coming up) to tell you that you have hit this stupid new button, and not warp to - like you thought.

Im sure theres tonnes of poeple who like it, but please for the love of eve, make it obvious and preferable toggable.

I support the idea of telling the player that the ship is in a warp+jump sequence.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

I'd like it is hitting space bar (a command that stops your ship AND disables autopilot) would stop you from jumping if pressed before you land on the gate.

Yes, but id like to know before i land weather the stop worked or not, and thus i can stop hitting stop.

Do i need ot mash ctrl+space everytime i land on any gate just in case?

The Lemming Button is well named as such.

It isn't wise to accidentally hit buttons in a spaceship.

It's like it's dangerous and gamebreaking to have the game specifically say that it's warping and jumping/docking. It's a simple UI change, and it helps clear up whether or not you're going to jump/dock after you're done warping.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

When I saw it on SISI the first time I was sure that his button will be the FC's worst friend. The bad idea is to place it beside the former warp button. But the main question is: do we really need it?

its an attempt to make the game more like the forums

ctrl+copy before posting
and spam ctrl+space when you land on a gate

harmony!

I just wish it could be disabled by player choice and remembered like orbit distance. It is very handy to avoid the 'bounce off gates when you warp to zero' for the larger slow ships(Orca, Freighters, etc..), but small fast craft don't suffer from that.

kinda thought this would be a bigger problem...

I mean come on ccp, the buttons are right next to each other and do the exact same thing at the exact same time, theres no way to be sure at all a fraction of a second after you clicked it, which one it was.

And no i dont generally have a problem clicking the wrong buttons, but when i do, they dont generally get me killed either......

Amongst my alliance this button has become known as the "**** up button".

Really it's a lovely functionality and all but largely it serves to make you screw up and get killed so a message telling you what button you pressed would be sweet.

There is a message for "what button you pushed"....it's the little popup that appears when hovering over the button. And alternative solution would be to pay attention and have some patience while the muscle memory relearns.

Simple.. adapt.. learn that you do NOT want to press that button when roaming unless the FC says Jump on Contact.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

Those buttons do quite look different I must say...

Also, one click of the stop button disabled the jump for me, so I don't see the problem here.

If you are prone to being spastic, hit ctrl-space while in warp. You're welcome.

What are these "Roams" and "FCs" of which you speak?

Yeah, bouncing 10-20k off a gate in an orca or frieghter is no fun, if I wanted to slowboat to the gates manually I would have just autopiloted :) This definitely helps situations where you're flying one of the above mentioned and not spamming jump so you don't bounce way the hell off the gate. You literally had to spam jump when going through Amarr space every time you warped to a gate otherwise you'd spend 10 minutes traveling back to the gate after bouncing off.
