1) I never asked for capitals, i don't care how stuff gets done.
2) It is was regarding an interbus customs office, not a POS (POSses shoot back in case you were wondering about the differences, custom offices don't)
3) the hotdrop possiblility was 0, your danger calculator needs some re-calibration
4) I explicitly said I wasn't in a hurry
5) Killing a customs office alone is impossible
6) you terminated the connection

And about the offer, that's a bit late now, I can't take that seriously.

You see, if you want to act like you are a bunch of mean piwates for hire, and somebody asks you something you are afraid to do, say, kill a spider in the next room, there are certain things you should not say. Never say: I'm afraid of spiders, and I am afraid of the dark, and maybe the lights suddenly go out in that room while I am shooting the spider with my bazooka-flamethrower combo, so my answer is nooooooooo while running towards your anti-spider bunker. To keep your cool image, say something like 'I'm not interrested', or 'I would, but my sock drawer urgently need a re-ordering', or, as a merc you say 'No thanks, I'm not interested', or 'Sure, that will be 100 billion'.

Never get caught saying that a job is to big or to dangerous when you're talking about shooting a interbus customs office for crying out loud, it makes you look like wussies.


nice long troll. I will point out again my response about your request was based on the information provided to me by whom ever you spoke with. Since you do not seem to even know who that was the rest of your argument is invalid. The fact that my dog wears a suit also makes your argument invalid.

So whome did you hire and I will gladly work on your contract for 3 trillion ISO 3/4 up front.

No i am saying your argument is invalid as I had clearly stated that you had not spoken to me directly till these forums. I also clearly stated my responses were based on second hand information. Yet you continued to assert that you spoke with me and that you had told me some thing different. Once you can acknowledge that you did not negotiate with me then you have a little more credibility and as i stated we will gladly take the job for the small price now if you acknowledge you did not negotiate with me of 250 bil Isk.

Untill then your argument remains invalid as i am ironing a cat.

Yeah, sometimes the contracts you turn down are even more fun than the ones you take.

The temptation to actually post the log of his convo with us is high. I would expunge his name, of course, so he can keep his "Pig" skin intact. Big smile

Paranoia is a survival skill in EVE. He caused us to believe he was trying to set us up to lose a lot of valuable ships. Now whether he had bad intentions or simply poor social skills, the result was that we broke off the negotiation. No loss to him, and we have other work to do.

We do what we do very well. The people who employ us are delighted with our results, even if Pig is not. We don't take every contract, but what merc corp does?

Obvious troll is obvious. There's not even much of a "concern" to address. Some people think they are entitled to instant acceptance of any offer they make to mercs and cant understand/accept that we can choose to accept or decline any contract we want for any reason we want.

It's very strange, but I've had similar people freak out at me over the same thing.
