1. They are free.

2. You don't need to spend hours and hours missioning to get them.

Because you can use both the new implants as well as the usual grid/cpu/cap hardwires, which in returns allows for fits that aren't otherwise possible. Additionally, for the people wondering if this is the full set or not... Since you're getting the set bonus for having both plugged in, it is the full set. While in theory it's possible that another subset gets added to these, the bonuses would still have to be kept completely separate from these in order to not break the bonuses already given.

They are different. I mean more cap can be useful for almost any ship, more PG and CPU can be useful for people who don't have all the PG and CPU related skills maxed out and had fitting issues. On top of that the advantage is that you can still use +4/5 implants in the other slots without losing a set bonus buff. And let's not forget the hard wiring you don't need to get everything out of your "set".

Tbh i'm more surprised people don't see the usefulness of these implants.

Most people knew we would get a second implant. I might not have been on the crucible page but I am sure that in the devblog about the the CA-1 mentioned it.

It does say in the description of the CA-2 that this is only a 2 implant set.

It would be awesome if CCP made it a 5 implant set, but it looks like this is "it".

If anyone missed thier's you can still buy them in contracts...
I bought a few extra cause I have a feeling they will be worth a lot in a few months.

Hopefully I'm not wrong. :)
