I feel as though I should set an example for my crew...And say No in the kindest way possible

And then after you lose your crew due to being passive when the other is not? Not a good example to give.

I never said I would just let them die, I wouldn't murder, but I will kill, Without hesitation to protect them. I suppose though one mans murder is another mans defense. Thank you though, I will think on this carefully

Sooner or later someone will attack you. It's a fact of life unless you never accomplish anything worthwhile. Even then someone still will to make an isk, or to simply laugh about it with their fleetmates. Your crew should be the only thing to matter to you in those situations. It's not killing OR murder, its survival. Pure and simple. Explanations to them? No need or they wouldn't sign up to fly with you. They know what they are getting into, but that doesn't mean you should ignore their safety. Remember their safety also isn't garranteed.

You're right, I've been pretentious this whole time, I think I needed to hear it from someone else to finally realize it. I'll take that into consideration

I say, anyone who leaves his balls exposed for a swift kicking deserves it.

Kick away, gentlemen.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

I've got to agree with Jones on this matter. Hitting (or kicking) below the belt is uncivilized and ungentlemanly. Next time you run into a situation like this a punch in the face or a series of blows to the mid section is definitely warranted and Bro-approved.

Yeah, there's a great bit of advice to ensure that the more narcissistic work-out monkey wins.

The best option is to defuse the situation so you don't have to resort to violence at all. That's the best solution, and it's the solution I endorse as a non-violent logi pilot.

As a Goon, on the other hand, and as a Sebiestor Matari, I gotta say - do yourself a favor: When someone starts giving you crap in a bar? Shoot them dead. You're a capsuleer. What are they going to do you, really? You have more than enough money to hire a lawyer to get you out, and once you're out, you're in the wind and there is nothing they will ever be able to do to touch you. Even the worst punishment they've got is something most of us consider a mild inconvenience and 'I need to replace my implants', at worst.

Or, if it's anotther capsuleer? Don't kill them. Hurt them. Maim them and leave them in a crippled shell until they can get someone to finish the job. Yes, they're probably going to hold a grudge and never forgive you, and hunt you in an obsession-fueld rage that burns with the white-hot fury of a thousand suns until the very end of time... but let's face it, you've been reading the IGS. Most of us are vicious, vengeful sociopaths. The odds are pretty good he was going to do the 'hunt you ... thousand suns' thing anyway because you didn't buy him the right flavor of his favorite beer. You got the brewery right, so there's that, but he wanted the draft beer, you got him the lite beer.

Goon: dementia and bravery.

It looks like some puppets spend too much time in their cans. And even outside it - they still consider themselver as "immortals". But when transneural scanner is far away, a bullet in the head is a true dead end.

For those who consider themselves immortal, no, it's not. It means you lose a day, a week, a month maybe, but your back-up still wakes up.

For those of us who consider ourselves to be a person who will be replaced by someone that thinks they're us? Then it certainly is. And so's a 1400mm shell to the pod.

I must agree with Arrendis wholeheartedly here. I think Jovakko did the right thing in eliminating the threat in the most efficient way possible and getting off grid before the rest of the hostile crowd could get involved.

Frankly, if I find myself face to face with some drunk Amarr slaver who's spouting some political or racial bullshit at me, only one of us will be walking out of that bar. I know the Gallente are supposedly allied to the Matari in our ongoing struggle against the slavers, but some of y'all can really be hemorrhoids.

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.

Well, I think you did good that whacked him hard between legs. Let him know his place.
But you did wrong that you ran away. You should have waited for him to raise up... in case he would ASK FOR MORE.

Shhh... Ixnay on the ofts-gclonin-nay. I mean, do you really want him to know if he doesn't?

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I no longer hold any regret for my actions, I am also looking into purchasing a sidearm for myself in case i need it. I suppose we'll see. Also I would like to point out that the reasoning behind my leaving was as previously stated, to "Get out of an unfriendly area" quickly, But that may not be plausible next time. Should it happen again, I'll try to be more aggressive in my defense.
