Why has CCP not turned Eve Gate into an app for smart phones?

It would be much easier to navigate, reply to in-game mails and search forums with a mobile-friendly version of Eve Gate.


If CCP won't do it, is it possible to for a 3rd party developer to build an app that connects to the eve gate servers to allow us to quickly reply to in-game mails with an easy-to-use mail app?

or does that go against some CCP security/privacy policy?

I wish they would. Add some Facebook like functionality. I would donate to a project like that.

There is currently no simple way to do this, and indeed, an application that sorts of interact between a user and Eve-Gate may well be out of bound.
