Invisible Character on Login

Just thought I would ask before making a support ticket. Has anyone else experienced this upon character login?

When logging in and immediately after station environment loads, character pod or ship is invisible. I can station spin (move camera about) and the station environment looks normal, but no character pod or ship is visible, Hangar UI shows pod/ship as occupied (green) and all assets appear normal. The only way to make character become visible is to leave ship or board ship and voila! everything appears. It's as though the game environment did not entirely load or is missing data from cache.

Just thought I would ask as this kinda of stuff is not my area of expertise. I would hate to submit a ticket for something trivial and waste someones time for something that is client side and not game code related.

Thanks,

Civil discourse is uniquely human. After all, when is the last time a pride of lions and a herd of water buffalo negotiated SOV over a watering hole? Never. Someone either gets their ass kicked or eaten. At the end of the day someone holds SOV.

When I get podded, I often respawn outside of my capsule. I mean, the pod is there at the station hangar, but it isn't boarded, and you may treat it as you please. I once trashed it and got stuck. so I had to petition a GM to set myself free. There was another pod I managed to trade to a friend of mine. and now he's got an extra egg.

Same thing has happened to me since yesterday.

Once I undock, the problem disappears. However, I have not tried switching ships before undocking, so I am not sure if that might reset things. Or if something else might.

Once the initial undock is done, the ship(s) appear as normal in the station.

Happened to me a long time ago. Rebooting the game fixed it. (Long time ago.)

There just isn't anything that can be said!
