Interestingly, there are signatures in the shattered systems where you'll find the remains of Nation Revenants, destroyed Sleeper drones, and a damaged Sleeper Enclave.

You'll also find Sleeper drones in the Drifter Hive facilities, and Circadian Seekers flying alongside Drifter battleships in some cases.

It is perhaps more likely that the Drifters-- awoke? Returned? Were created? --as a means to fight the Sansha.

It's unlikely that the Drifters have anything to do with the Sansha. While they show up everywhere and will attack capsuleers who get too close to their structures or have a history of aggression towards them, all of their more focused activity has been against the Amarr and Khanid empires. This is more or less exactly the opposite of what an anti-Sansha force would do.

I will of course gladly reconsider this opinion should we see a Drifter assault on 37S-K0 or Drifters actively repulsing Nation incursions.

I propose a petition to create a forum to develop a petition for the purposes of countering the counter petition for the petition against your counter petition that petitions against the petition against your petition for a new forum for petitions.

Or we can just go get drunk together.

Should we make a petition agains all of those self-addicted puppets to stop them think we want something from 'em, like taking us seriously, be impressed by our great deeds, or just their opinion - even when their very existance is not something we care of? Or at least to stop 'em bothering us with dat nonsense?

It won't work anyway.

The Sansha them just randomly have woken.

Incidentally.
Amarr deceived. Declaration of war drifter was false. Searchers easily are continuing their intelligence activities, and the Amarr forces of do nothing.

I doubt the Sansha had anything to do with it. The most likely culprit was the Amarr Empire scavenging Sleeper implants in the development of Templar technology, though that's probably not the whole story.

Drifters and Sleepers have shown that their infomorph technology is far in advance of the rest of New Eden - possibly to the point where they can actively intercept and prevent consciousness transfer (see: Hilen Tukoss), though this should not be physically possible. While the Sansha are certainly the cluster's leaders in implant and infomorph technology, I suspect the Drifters could subvert their systems with ease and possibly even absorb/control the Nation if they really wanted to.

There's really no evidence that the Drifters give a damn about Sansha's Nation one way or the other. The Sleepers appear to have held their own in all but one system and there's not much to suggest that there has been any continuing conflict between them in the last few years.

It really won't. That much you're right about.

At this rate, "bothering you" is going to become its own reward.

He does get bothered enough to reply to us so...

Yeah, let's bother him some more.

Nanoblack does not bestow the ability to not reply and not blowing one's own trumpet.

(p/s: Phayder corp description is clearly meant to impress. Why else would you put all that 'omnicidal maniac posturing' thing in there anyway?)

By the way, Sansha being there can be explained by Sansha's interest in acquiring advance technologies. They had looted Jovian tech and incorporate those into their arsenal before, and I'm sure they were trying to do the same with Drifters.

I'm more surprised that the Cartel hadn't tried yet. Perhaps that's to be expected. Sansha's known for his hubris.
