Issues, Workarounds & Localization

So I log on in my wormhole today, and this is what happens:

I try to start my ship.

A message flashes that my speed has ben set to X m/s. However there is no visilbe response from the ship, and the speed dial still shows 0 m/s. I put on my MWD and the module glows, and the message flashes, but still no other response. Dial still shows 0 m/s. Then I try cloaking, and the cloaking module starts glowing, but my ship is still visible. So I figure it's time to warp to the POS, but... warping doesn't work.

I write a bug report and relog.

I come back in, and I'm finally able to get control of my own ship. I warp to the POS, but... while I can see the bookmarks set up in it, I can see no POS, nor any of it's bays or modules.

I write a new bug report and relog again.

This time the POS shows. Yay! So I probe down some sigs, and warp to a wormhole, only... It doesn't show up. No exit to be found. I warp to another, and no exit there either.

I panic. Warp back to my POS. Log. Restart my computer. Log back in, and same problem. So I warp to another POS, and... no POS there, but at least the first POS is still visible.

I try warping to an ore anom, and it is also invisible... However whatever is there uncloaks me, so it's definitively there. I quickly cloak and warp back to the POS where I'm also decloaked, so it's gotta be there. IT'S STILL THERE, RIGHT???? So I calm down, open the help chat, and ask many strange questions. Also I open up a ticket to CCP about my problem.

Some helpful people in the help channel suggest I try the different help tools, clear cache, use the repair tool on the client, and use repair.exe and use rescache.exe. So I log off and use those.

Finally, when it's all done, I log back in again, and wee, there is a change! Now the POS that showed before has vanished again.
