I can't figure out how to with servers. I've got SiSi and Solace selected in settings, but I can't find how to switch. Any help?

I noticed my fan speed going quite high today. I checked out activity monitor to see if Eve was using more cpu than usual. It was not eve, it was the launcher. It was using around 40% of one core, and a launcher sub-process called "QtWebEngineProcess" was using 100% of another core.
Seems somewhat excessive, as the client typically uses 50% of one core.

Much love from me if you get that fix out. I've had to revert to the old launcher because I simply can't survive without Siggy.

Hi.
I tried beta client on iMac with 2 monitors.
main monitor has a resolution of 2560x1440 and second monitor is 1920x1080.

It is impossible to run 2 clients in full screen mode on two displays.
On MAC client is impossible to choose which display to use on client settings.

I also tried to open two window mode clients, move second one on second display and to change to fullscreen mode but both clients run in fullscreen on first monitor only.

How could I to run two clients in full screen mode even with beta or regular client with its clone client as second?

When I run standard client and its clone on full screen and I pass with alt tab between clients it cashes very often.

So I am looking for a suggestion how to run two clients on two different monitors like told above.

I've been trying unsuccessfully to get the beta launcher to work with the production client on Yosemite 10.10.5.

When it starts it throws a popup with the error "An error was encountered while downloading (see log for details). Do you want to run network diagnostics? ( Ignore | Retry | Yes ) "

The relevant entries in the log file seem to be

09:43:29.523 debug Finished task "Cider version downloader for Tranquility"
09:43:29.523 error "SSL handshake failed"
09:43:29.523 warning Update failed for "Tranquility" with error: 2

If I "Ignore" the launcher starts, but shows a message at the bottom that says "Cider version info not available 0.0%" and then is not able to launch the game.

Is the beta launcher supposed to work with the production client?

For some reason https connections seem to be failing. Can you file a bug report, attaching the full launcher log? Mention my name in the title so it gets sent my way.

I'm confused as well. There was an issue with the beta launcher and the IGB - I fixed that and released on Monday. Then it seems the update of the client on Tuesday broke the IGB in a different way. I'm pretty sure that issue was fixed in today's patch.

Make sure the launcher is not running.

In Finder, go to ~/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/SharedCache.

You should see a folder named cider-EveOnlinePremium-iso-010805-nodata-skel - delete that folder. Don't worry, settings are not stored in there.

Now restart the launcher and try starting up a client and see if the browser works.

I appreciate your help in trying to sort this out - it's frustrating when things work on my machine but not out in the field.

Ok first test launcher 988834 IGB opened with black screen. Closed IGB client locked up requiring closing the app.
Second test deleted file in question, started launcher and selected TQ client, game loaded, loaded grid, loaded IGB, and it works!
