Doesn't come with the new Cider update, that's still in internal testing. Can connect to TQ and Test Servers.

I don't think it works with STEAM yet. Give them a bit to sort that out.

While the client was patching i tried to start and it notified me that my client was damaged and i have to repair/reinstall, when the patch was done i pressed play and it worked just fine.

Any idea when we're going to see an update for these huge lag issues? I took me almost a minute to swap a module in and out from inventory while docked... (I'm not exaggerating). It also takes about 20-30 seconds for market purchases to appear in your Item Hangar once completed.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

FWIW, this launcher has enabled me to play Eve on my MBP for the first time ever. I couldn't overcome issues with the normal installer but this worked amazingly. Thanks!

I'd very much like to use this new launcher. Have successfully installed it and loaded my character accounts. But whenever I select an account and click "Play Selected" the launcher freezes (no further interaction with the launcher is possible) and no account loads.

Any ideas?

These aren't platform-specific lags, I know that Game of Drones have refactored some type-load systems to combat these issues. Coming in December.

I am experiencing this as well, for me the hung browser ultimately crashes the client as well.

In addition I have been running the old launcher through PlayOnMac, which was working much better overall, the beta launcher however does not run at all with PlayOnMac. I realize that is somewhat unrelated since it's actually the windows launcher.

When I try to add my username and password to the duality server log in it spams me with notiforcation and I have to force quit the launcher.
I have to go to the server list then launch it from there but makes it inconvenient some times..

Like launching the launcher or the client?

If the launcher loads, but not the client, I would run a few maintenance items.

1: Verify your shared cache
2: save your character settings (location is posted near the start of this thread), and delete and clean install EVE.
3: file bug report and wait on CCP.

Try it in window mode - it might not be the EVE client but the settings on your Mac (Power Nap) that are effecting it. I haven't run RVE full screen for over two years. Only issues I get on undocks, IGB and some data query lags.

Don't know your play times are, but if your up for it, I wouldn't mind helping over TS.

Hmm..thanks. I'll try in windowed mode and see what happens. Since switching between apps is the problem, windowed mode might help. If Power nap is an issue, maybe disabling would help. I might take you up on your offer, I'll let you know. Thanks

No problem - yeah Fullscreen mode just seems to blah to me. I can't remember all of my settings - on power stuff. I know power nap is a "info" (command-key + i) option on the Application bundle.

So needed to get on Sisi and it seems the new launcher is the only way to do that now (old one incompatible). Fine, I'll try it.

First thing the new launcher prompted me to import my setting BUT the file selection process is confusing since some of file names I got are not anything I could recognize and some seemed missing. So I brought up me old browser to search for what was happing and that action seems to close the import settings window for good. I could not find anyway to tell the launcher to import settings so after finally having to get on Sis all my Sisi settings are gone. Fine, whatever it's Sisi. But now I suspect all my TQ settings are gone too (I still haven't logged in to TQ just in case). If this is the case CCP I'm gonna be really mad this time!

Unless you can import settings anytime the whole import settings dialog box and procedure needs to change.
