So edgy. Capsuleers are filth, woo. Scary scary. Why, I'm practically quaking in my filth at the mere mention of it. Do you ever have anything not completely emo to add?

Sometimes it looks like some capsuleers see what they want to read and not what was written. Clonning process does not prevent it's products from being dumb still.

We get it, you don't like capsuleers, capsuleer.

We all know your 'empty puppet condemned to a life of stolen memories.' We all know you're not so secretly a puppet for some sort of nanogoo. What is the point of coming into a thread where people are trying to enjoy themselves and talk about their families just to tell them they're terrible and their families should be ashamed of them

Quote:

It may be better for 'em to forget that they ever had such a miserable offspring. There's really nothing to be proud of, but a lot to shame.

"you're miserable, your parents should forget they ever had you. Shame on you for existing."

Do you get off on it or something?

If your goal is to come off as somehow above all of the rabble then you're doing a rather terrible job, and your message will fall of deaf ears. Oh and if someone finds his corpse let me know, I'd like to poke it with a stick.

So you can avoid the inconvenient truth.

If you or Ms. Riordan may take a look back, then you will see, that we told nothing 'bout all capsuleers or 'bout being one of 'em. It was all 'bout Saint-Clair, whos deeds we know well.

But you choosed to rush ahead with your prejudices like a couple of unguided rockets to reveal our hatered to capsuleers. And never turn back. Such a good weapon you are. Disposable still.

And this gives you a very good reason to guilt-trip another capsuleer.

It could be something really similar to Saint-Clair's circumstances.

Can you claim to know her circumstances well enough to conclude that her family had a hard time dealing with an offspring who is now a capsuleer and may or may not have lost the original flesh-and-blood body?

There is nothing inherently shameful about having a capsuleer in the family. It all depends on how one views it.

You missed the point. As usual.

There's nothing about being a capsuleer or capsuleer's deeds. It's about being Saint-Clair and her deeds only. Lie, treachery, cowardice, self-addiction, sanctimoniousness. Pathetic filth that even we find disgusting.

So, all else aside, it sounds like you have something against Saint-Cair personally, Mr. Arkoth.

If you want us to take your remarks seriously, maybe you could elaborate?

It took surprisely long for someone to get it.

Aria Jenneth wrote:

There is nothing what we want from you. But Nanoblack made us to fight lies and liars.

Saint-Clair is a self-proclaimed "Savior of the New Eden", Guardian of the Light, Abbess of the Cathedral. We leave it up to you to find out from what New Eden should be saved, what those Guardians supposed to keep and where is that Cathedral may exist outside Saint-Clair's imagination.

Les Gardiens corporation declared that it works to help new capsuleers adaptation, to support culture, to bring peace. Their Memorandum says that it's strongly forbidden for every "guardian" to be the first to initiate combat with another capsuleer.

Lie. In every single word.

While Les Gardiens pretends to be charitable organization on public, their actions got nothing with "charity". Saint-Clair is responsible for a war declaration, an ignoring her own Memorandum, a betrayal of her allies, a flight from her own war, a slaughter of her corp-mates. In 117-03-25 that deceitful creature found it's miserable death, but new Saint-Clair choosed to hide that fact and say that there was no war-dec at all, no violation of her own rules, and previous Saint-Clair died by heart attack, what was officialy declared on Les Gardiens public resourses.

We can only hope that you enjoyed that little story full of humanity just as we did.

Fighting lies and liars ...

It's an admirable goal, Mr. Arkoth, but it seems bound to be deeply frustrating, especially if what you are really fighting is just people who disagree with your own point of view.

For example: I could say, "I have no family."

From your stated point of view, this is true, because I'm a different person from the woman who had that family. It's also at least partially true from mine, as I have no memory of such people and don't see myself as especially attached to them. I also have no reason to think they remember me fondly.

Then again, I could say, "I have a family."

There are people who are genetically related to my clone, and who would recognize the personality imprint of my infomorph. They were responsible for teaching a lot of the knowledge I possess even now, including my religious beliefs. Even if I (or my predecessor) killed one or two of them, depending on how you count, I'm still linked by blood, faith, and perhaps fate.

Alternatively, I also have people who care about me, elsewhere. Whether these are "family," exactly, is a judgment call.

Which of these is true isn't clear-- unless you cling to a particular point of view. But if you do that, you're essentially claiming that your own perspective is the only meaningful one. You're then claiming objective accuracy in a world where perception is subjective from its roots.

A lot of human quarrels arise from roots like this. I wonder whether yours do the same.
