Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Trying to organize contacts with labels, some of which require they be under more than 1 label, but the 2nd label disappears after a couple of minutes every time I try t o set them. Specifically it'll drop the first label that was set in favor of the more recent label. Is there a fix to this?

Edit:

I seem to have stumbled on the reason it wasn't working - adding labels 1 at a time seemed to overwrite the previous label attempt, however using the label manager to add labels simultaneously seems to get them to stick.
