Prize contributions can be sent to the corporation EVE's Amazing Race.

I'd started this as a challenge for members of Affirmative. Alliance, but, based on the suggestion of Greygal (founder of Redemption Road and Affirmative. Alliance), I'm expanding this to all of New Eden.

This race will be the ultimate test of the new player SP changes.

The challenge is simple.


1) Create a new capsuleer.

2) Take a screenshot of your map showing 'Systems I've Visited' and post it to this thread to declare your interest in the race. It's best to take your screenshot immediately after getting logged in and before you leave the starting system. That said, if your map shows a few systems travelled, that's okay. If it shows more than a few (>5), then you're bad and you should create a new character.

3) Join the corporation EVE's Amazing Race. If you haven't posted your screenshot here, you won't be accepted.

4) Visit every high, low, and null sec system in New Eden. Feel free to use wormholes to get around the outer edges faster.

5) Once you've visited every high, low, and null sec system, post a screenshot of your maps 'Systems I've Visited'.


Your character must be brand new and must have applied to EVE's Amazing race within 24 hours of being created. You are more than welcome to train your new character (including the use of Cerebral Accelerators). You can speed train interceptors and use that, you can fit a cloak and an MWD to your noobship and use that. You can get in an Astero and bridge yourself past gate camps with your higher SP characters.

The first person to submit both screenshots will be declared the winner of Season 1 of EVE's Amazing Race.

A Teamspeak channel will be made available to all members of EVE's Amazing Race for communication and fleet roaming courtesy of Affirmative. Alliance. See the corporate MOTD for more details.

- Awarded upon completion of the race to the pilot that completes the race the fastest. Time will be measured by using the timestamps from the declaration and completion posts.

Do i need to wait invite in corp, or i should apply myself?

My map(s) do not seem to be recording the systems I visit. I am using the default settings while looking at either maps with systems I've visited on. I cannot find any color controls or other toggles that seems to turn on the view of the systems I have visited. What do?

Edit: there was also 1 Downtime between travels and still no glowing visited systems.

Remember you can still sign up... lots of prizes to go around.

Not sure how to track missing systems. I guess I wait for the Downtime or two that it takes for the dots to appear - then swing around wildly un-flattened to find the un-lit systems in a region. : )

I just hope I am not reinventing the wheel when it comes to this.
