Could someone please share their optimized Machariel L4 Blitz fit? (blingy or not) Yes, I tried the search feature but it kept timing out unsuccessfully. From what I remember the ideal setup includes (but is not limited to):

• 7x 800mm Repeating Cannon II
• Small Tractor Beam II
• 500MN propulsion module
• Adaptive invulnerability
• 2x Tracking Computer II
• Deadspace X-Large shield booster
• 3-4x Faction Gyrostabilizers
• 2-3x Tracking Enhancer II
• 5x Light drones

Where I wasn't 100% was with the rigs and mid setup. Is there any benefit to running 3x gyros/2x tracking enhancers so you can run a pair on nanos, hyperspacial modules or something else? I've seen some fits that had gunnery rigs and others that had full hyperspacial rigs. Also, other than a full set of Ascendancy implants - any recommendations for slots 8-10?

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

For slot 10, the LP-1005, gives a raw damage buff for large projectiles. Cap imp for 8 maybe if you need it, seems like a could catch-all for large gun imp sets. 9 for sure should be the RF-905 for added ROF. You'll blow through ammo, but then again you didn't buy it to look pretty, you bought it to kill ****, and kill it shall.

Not sure about the rigs, hyperspatial rigs would be top of my list though. Ambit Extension 1/2 or a Burst Aerator 1 I would think. T1's of each could fit in 350 cal on 3 rigs I'm pretty sure.

And, I know you mention slot 8-10, but don't forget the MR/TA-705 for added application or projection, though I'd lean towards the TA for the falloff buff over tracking speed.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

yea the search thing has a history of not being very helpful, and these days doesn't even seem to work. Personally I usually use eve search or a google search with something like: blitz mach site:forums.eveonline.com

I have a few fits that mostly follow the same over all theme, but some slot changes. Armor/shield is mostly a preference call. A gist shield booster is better, mostly just for the lower CPU use and awesome cap efficiency, but I cba to pay for one. I generally try to pimp the gank and cheapo the rest. If I was running in an SOE hub I'd probably drop one of the faction gyros and fit a damage control. Although I haven't paid any attention to how often mission ships get ganked lately. Also I'm not 100% sure on a few missions of which is best to use. I was using the arty fit on gone berserk mostly because I can warp in and lazily shoot stuff, but I've seen others say they use their ac fits. ACs have very high dps and a lot of falloff so their projection is pretty good some cases where you might think arty is better ac might be better although it might require a little moving around.

First dual prop, useful for missions like the assault (vs guristas, I think the serp version is a little different), or pirate invasion (I do sansha but think it works vs angels too) where you want to avoid all combat and then jump 100km into the far group and only kill them. slots aren't completely optimized and some switching around would mostly work. Can also drop one of the prop mods for another tracking comp.

second arty fit, I usually use this one for blitzing dread pirate scarlet, I've dropped another gyro and fit double nanos. it goes fast, I also usually heat the MWD to make it to the gate even faster. also works nicely for a few missions where you warp in and only need to hit a few targets at range.

third generic shield gank fit. nothing really special here. Looks like in eft you can make a few adjustments to fit an MJD if you want to stay with a shield tank.

my suggested implants

6:ws-6 warp speed yay \o/
7:TA-70x Tracking, mostly because it benefits most other ships better I think, although with a mach falloff is a good alternative. if someone wants to run 100 hours of missions with each implant and compare the dps log results that would be cool Lol
8: zor's zoom zoom, great implant for a mach, and I'm not sure there is anything better in this slot.
9: SS-90x I like the damage over rof implant, with server tick limitations I'm not sure 5% rof helps all that much. also with other ships higher rof means more heat damage
10:LP-100x hard to argue here. although I've been thinking about a missile implant, but that has more to do with burners.

Warp speed? Wat?

Warp speed? Wat?

Inertia helps with achieving warp faster as well as slowing down.

Aligning faster to get into warp sure, but everything I have read did not mention agility having anything to do with warp speed acceleration or decceleration. Do you have anything documenting this?

It's not just the faster align in terms of maneuverability, but the increase in acceleration. So warping normally or using an acceleration gate both occur faster. This is what I was referring to (not the actual acceleration and decceleration while in warp, which is governed by warp speed).

OK, so you meant acceleration not warp speed.

I got a mach fit and some implant advice in my guide, though it's an armor mach. There might be some missions it can't do since it's a specialized blitz boat (Sansha Blockade springs to mind).
