In-Game Events and Gatherings

The EOC.TV project is a brainchild of it’s parent company Evil At Work is striving to become one of EVE Online’s most recognizable media outlets for EVE Online. The website is just weeks away from being launched and coming out of BETA. In light of this we will be featuring one of our new tools which is a multi-stream platform where guest will be able to view 6 different streams of their choice, new navigation and much more. So with the launch in mind we have partnered with two other charities.


Care For Kids Eve and Best Of Us. This event will also benifit Plex 4 Good. In honor of these charities and our website launch we have decided to host what we hope becomes the largest player hosted event in the history of EVE Online. Without further delay below is our plan of action.

Date: Sunday November 29th,2015 20:00 Eve Time


System: System will be cyno jammed by CCP, and server nodes will be re-enforced. The exact locations and regions will be provided shortly prior to the event.


Setup: We will be staging 4 heavily armed tower’s throughout the system, as well as 1 heavily armed large tower w/Titan inside of it. There will be 4 Teams, each team has what we call a “safe zone”. Each safe zone will contain 2 repping carriers. which players will be able to use to help keep their “safe zone” secure and alive.


Fleets: We have spoken to several EVE Famous FC’s who have jumped onboard with us to help run the fleets. In just a few weeks they will be able to post to their “fleets” on a secured page within the EOC.TV Rumble site. Here they will be able post anything they would like communicate to their fleets.


Donations & Signups: Because this is a charity event we are requesting that those who want to participate in the event donate 100m to the charity. These funds will used to support Care For Kids, Best Of Us, and of course Plex 4 Good. Minus a few things that we need to pay for, for the charity event itself. When a player donates they go into a massive pool. When it’s time to push the fleet information they will receive an in-game mail with a link to their team page.

Teams are going to be balanced on Alliance, Corporation, Character Age as well as killboard stats. We strongly believe that this is the best way to provide a balanced fleet environment for both veteran player and new players.


Streaming: Because EOC.TV is a streaming website. We will be pushing our streaming ability, with 5 dedicated streamers throughout the event.


Prizes: We are collaborating with both in-game and out of game sponsors to provide many different levels of prizes to those who donate to participate in the event. To include but not limited to, ISK, ships, items, Plex’s, t-shirts, mousepads, posters, etc. When we have finalized these details they will be posted to the rumble website. We estimate the information regarding exact prizes to be posted shortly.

i have yet to receive a confirmation email to either confirm or deny my entry. at the time (somewhere around oct 31) i went to the site and it said (or i understood it as) this was a charity event and to send the entry fee to EOC.TV. so i gifted the 100 mil with a note saying my entry fee, and nothing happened. now its says to donate to one of the charities. i don't care where the donation/entry fee goes just that i could enter in this seemingly awesome event. i dont know whats going on. i assume i should have been told something by now.
