I, uh, was actually thinking of a Citadels 4 U esque offering, looking to buy just 1.

I'd set it up with no shares, though, because I'm not interested in that insanity (alternately, I considered setting it up with shares in a corporation that held no assets and only had money pumped into it immediately after a sale that would subsequently be immediately disbursed as a payment).

I don't know if people are ready for a 700b drop just on the basis of my good name, though. Maybe I could arrange something with Chribba where I have copy access but not any shares on teh corp? IDK, I'm not sure the copies will make enough money to be worth retaining his services.

Shares are pretty terrible, although if you are to raise 700B from many, many, investors it would be helpful when it comes to paying interest.

I think if an MD consortium was to be set up for this, the Chribba secured route makes the most sense.

I expect the best way of running a citadel consortium would be to buy the BPO, research it a little, sell some copies and then sell the researched BPO, completing the entire process and paying back all investors in around 12 months, well before Citadel BPC prices find themselves in the toilet. I expect you can get Chribba to secure that all for 250m if you do as much of the legwork as possible. There would only be one BPO, one lockdown vote at the start, one unlock vote at the end and nobody with unlock roles except for Chribba.

Obviously there is the risk you will fail to pay interest and the risk that something goes wrong in Chribba's basement and we suffer a unfortunate and unexpected /swede. Nothing really different to a normal collateralised loan.

If you perceive the risk of Chribba being hit by a bus as higher than the risk of Chribba being intentionally dishonest, you could mitigate the "Chribba gets hit by a bus" risk by giving Chribba and a second third party (perhaps Grendell) unlock powers, with Chribba having the larger number of votes.

I think it would need to be 1B, to keep the number of shares manageable without excluding too many investors.

700B isn't an easy sum to raise, you'd pretty much be relying on a handful of well known MD names to fill the majority of it right from the start in order to give you the critical mass needed to fill the rest. If those people haven't got the liquidity at the time you launch it, you're ****** and it will not fill.

If there was sufficient interest, I'd consider doing it myself. But the issue I have is that I know, from experience, the work involved in raising that isk from scratch, distributing those shares and dealing with the forum noise that would inevitably explode. Given I would have to run it legitimately and hand all control over to Chribba, there would be no opportunity for a T4U style heist.

Do I really want to run something like this again, just for a 1% cut or something like that?

isnt the limited demand making them not worthy ?
I mean 700b , lets say one goes for 35kkk (for the sake of it) you would need to sell 20 to make it even .

People are quite sure these will be pretty limited due to coalitions and prestige killing one etc . So for quite some time i expect being very little of them . And those who will build them "CFC or PL" for example , wont have problem getting theyre own bpo . So whats the point ?

Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

I think the plan would have to be to sell the researched BPO and the BPCs.

I'm not so sure. I don't think we have enough information on them yet to make a good prediction. I think mediums and larges will be super popular, but XLs could either be the new Outpost (i.e. Zulus! Hundreds of them!) or a rarity like you say.

The closest comparison I have is Titans. CFC, PL, NC and any other bloc you wish to name had the ability to buy Titan BPOs, but many of their Titan builders bought Titan BPCs instead.
