If you do not want to compete, here is an idea for you.

You could always just pay for the account

Train up skills only

Log into Singularity

Train up different Skills

use /copyskills in the local chat to transfer Tranquility skills over which doubles your training

Help C.C.P. by participating in the mass-test and get 2 Mil. SP for that.

In no time you can fly everything, hold Sov. over your own system, test new things before coming out to the main game and not worry about death other than from rats or you and the other parties agree to a fight. Everything is a hundred isk aswell.

...unless playing with others is what you enjoy about the game.

You all did notice that he started playing in April of this year, right?

I would recommend the OP attempt to better obfuscate his obviously self-serving agenda.

Sorry the prospect of having to get good rattles your bones, bads.

feel free to contract me all your belongings when you quit because you can't handle how bad you are when "noobs" finally have the chance to kill you since you can't crutch skillpoints over your lack of player ability any longer.

Mmm sounds for me you are a angry player. I guess telling this or trying to tell that sp matters? Off course it matters. You going to say to all wow players he you, your char needs to die because you have better items then me......? Or any other mmorpg game out there. There is always a disadvantage always. But like the other people here that are trying to help you its is in eve not about how many SP you have but how many expertise you have. Like me i got 130m sp but i can not pvp because i sucks balls. But i can mine as the best or transport stuff as the best. You see...... i hope.

No life without death.

And yet in eve death , permadeath, doesnt seem to exist. As long as you dont voluntarely biomass your character, the character keeps aging further.

Lets ccp kill all characters after f.e. 15 (earth) years. This way new characters will be able to compete with old characters and it will probably also solve a lot of other issues.

Old players who have a f.e. 12 year old character, can then begin a new character in time, to be able to have a capable character of 3 years old by the time there 15 year old character dies, furtherig their dynasty. P

power corrupts. absolute power, corrupts absolutely.

This proposal is both a hard counter, to players/corps/alliances/coalitions who think that besides members, age, buys, more and more power. (in terms of both skillpoints but also isk, what is a 120m+ character worth these days, 50+ billion ?)

And to ccp and ccp shortterm greed endeavors, who are compromising the longterm future of the game. (think isk for dollars (plexes), (skillpoints for dollars (future) . And the very lucrative character bazaar deals. How much a month on high skillpoints characters, >50m skillpoints, (guestimating 20 trillion a month)). How do you think this gets funded. Probably a lot directly through plexes. But what if there is a max limit on the character age ? Hmm buying a 10year character that only will exist for 5 years is not that interesting anymore now is it.. (and oh yes it would absolutely depress the skillpoints for dollars in eve market and put the ingame price of the plexes through the roof, if peeps are selling a lot of 100m+ characters in 500k packages) but hey even without this hard counter, plex prices are increasing with 200m+ a year, due to decreasing player accounts and ccp not seemingly willing to decrease inline with this, the ingame gdp.

CCP should go back to subscription only, if only for the reason that it would force them, to think longterm and thus have a longterm vision.

Besides if its good for nature, its good for business. And more nature implemented in a game like this, who can be against that.

PS. Will give you a last thought. humans have been living for around 2 million years on earth. Their age has climbed to around max 110 years. How long do you think eve-online will be around ? And what is the max age of a character ?

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Eve is subscription only, that the subscription can be paid with RL currency or with a virtual one is irrelevant; especially when you consider that every PLEX in the game costs around 50% more than a regular subscription.

NEW PLAYERS!

Get a clue folks.

There are only so many Skill points to train in a specific area - after that, it goes to other thigns and you are equal.

For instance, once you get 10 mil in gunnery, you are on par with a toon from 2003. though some like myself have upwards fo 14 mil its because we have capital ships and skills there which do NOTHING to solo you.

Yes, it becomes skill after a while. I start new toons all the time and sell them. After 10 mil SP, you are not bad and can solo people just fine if you trained right.

Obviously you dont go after certain ships with a ship that is designed to not have a chance. LIke a Navitas will not kill a Harbinger so dont be stupid.

people who train too many skills, i.e past 150 MILL sp - get jove brain disease and are moved to unmarked Jove territory...

they remain forever locked up in the Jovian space and can only see the stuff from main server, but not ever interact with the rest of the world.

But they do get +32 to all attributes )))

This post sums up why the 'best' work with DCM inc.

WARP DRIVE makes eve boring

really - add warping align time 300% on gun aggression and eve becomes great again

Well people don't seem to grasp this, after the ''core skills' you slowly become able to specialize in certain fields, A bit more damage or a bit more of this.

Experience knowledge and good ol' numbers will kick more ass than a tiny ass percentage.

But maybe this is all a ruse of CCP to target the OCD of ''skill completionists''
