Mass-Test on Singularity, Tuesday 27th October @ 17:00 EVE-Time

Hi!
We are planning the (hopefully) final mass test for Brain in a Box on Singularity on Tuesday, October 27th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?


How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  1. Meet in FD-MLJ at the X-BV98 gate
  2. Jump to X-BV98
  3. Warp to POS beacon
  4. Shoot the control tower
  5. Warp to Poitot gate
  6. Jump to Poitot
  7. Align to F67E-Q gate
  8. Fleet 1: Jump to F67E-Q and setup gate camp
  9. Fleet 2: Jump to F67E-Q + fight at the gate


What else should I know?
  • Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
  • Bring many different ships, but preferably fleet ships.
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

Good to hear.

Also i would like to hear any Info about this strange occurence where speciffic fleet boosts suddenly stop to work.
It is rather common atm that for example the Titan ship Bonus suddenly stops to work for the entire fleet, and the only way to make it work again is to safelog the ship, restart the launcher and log back in.. on some occurences one even had to log in several times, before it was working again.

On other news, any update on the free skillpoints gone missing as of last mirror ? All the SP I got on Singularity for mass testing in the past vanished.

Did this happen on Singularity? Do you have any bug reports for this? Please tell me the ID of the bug report, so that I can look into it.

BTW: Do you include Duality mass test in the SP transfer rule to the next Mirror? I am at most mass test on Singularity and when the mirror happened I only had 2 Million Points. That was a hard hit.

I do not believe this could be an error or else I would most likely got none.

I do remember a couple tests on Duality, I just can not remember if that was the end of the last mirror or the beginning of this one. If it was the last mirror, that could be the reason why people are thinking they are missing SP.

I did the mass test.

Things were Bad. Very Bad.

I had two client lockups. The space scene just stopped updating. I had to force quit the client to get out of it. The first time I re-logged, and all the modules were missing from my HUD. They showed up after my first stargate jump. I made a bug report right after re-logging.

The second time was during the PvP fight. At the time my FPS was down to about 1.0. It just got slower and slower. Then my client stopped responding to clicks. My ship was out of control. Then, the client just stopped. Again, I had to force quit. This time I did not bother re-logging, as the test was near the end, and, as I was under attack at the time, I figured I would return to my med clone with insufficient time to get back to the battle.

In general the FPS was quite a bit lower than I am use to seeing on a mass test. It was lower in the last mass test I did too, even though that one had far fewer players.

i went on the mass test and have not recived my 2 mill sp
i dot know why but i havent i did join half way throo and than u said about a half hr later that test is over today i dont have 2 mill sp and cannot test the things i need to test that i am training for on tq

The character has to participate in the mass test. If anybody joins late or leaves early he might get nothing.
Rule-breakers might get removed from the list.
2 million skill-points per mass-test, they are normally applied one or two days after the mass test.

Thank you for helping with the mas test yesterday! Skill points have been applied now (I was busy earlier in the day with going through details from the mass test).

@Vincent: I assume you experienced these problems on a Mac? I was running one character also on a Mac and it was very slow (expected on this old hardware), but it did not crash.

MacBook Pro. I still use my old 17 inch one. I would upgrade, but Apple stopped making the 17 inch version.

I was in the Mass Test and that was my first time. I thought I arrived on time, but missed the downing of the POS. I did go to and participate in the mass battle. Did not see the skill points.
Was also logged on with a second character and had similar experience . Anonymous the Sixth on different account.

Not trying to get something for nothing, but thought I was there on time. thanks for checking.
