Scanned down a wormhole on my alt tonight. Visually, it looked fine. Not flashy etc.

The description:

An unstable wormhole, deep in space. Wormholes of this kind usually collapse after a few days, and can lead to anywhere.

This wormhole seems to lead into null security space.

This wormhole is beginning to decay, and probably won't last another day.
This wormhole has not yet had its stability significantly disrupted by ships passing through it.
Larger ships can pass through this wormhole.

I right-clicked and gave the command to enter. I got an error that the hole had collapsed. 10 seconds later the wormhole disappeared.

My face.

It's a new feature added to W-Space with the Aegis patch. I think it was added to cause more localized W-Space pvp content. Instead of going out to nullsec where you'd just gank a retriever and make a 30 minute video about it.

Mike, i think you're wrong. You don't go to nullsec to make a 30 minute video about ganking a lone Retriever. if you want to do that, you join Wingspan.

This has happened to us at least 5 times in the last month or so. The last time it happened was a NS hole in our C5 that was less than 6 hours old. We took an 8 man fleet out on a small roam and 30 minutes later our scout who was in NS watching the hole told us it just disappeared. We searched system after system with no Wormholes to be found and finally docked up at an NPC station and jump cloned to HS. Now I just have to figure out a way to get my Loki back home.

Our corp mates still in our WH could fly to the WH, and could still see it on grid, but could not jump. This went on for at least 10 minutes after it was gone on the NS side

Exciting news.

The more I read the forums over the years, the more I swear. To god. That the typos are intentional mistakes. Part o f the encryption.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD

This was happening like 3 years ago. It's just one of those little, annoying, rare bugs, that coders cba to fix. If you manage to make it reproducible it will be fixed, otherwise tough luck.
